Lovely to see this in Horse&Hound too about the RoR class at Windsor Horse Show yesterday:
“Katie’s latest charge, the former National Hunt star Cue Card, came fourth in the Retraining of Racehorses open in-hand class, on his show ring debut, in a class won by former Grand National stalwart Saint Are.“[Cue Card] only left his [racing] training yard three weeks ago but we’re very excited about his future,” added Katie. “Plus his owner, Jean Bishop, was overwhelmed when Her Majesty specifically asked to meet her and see the horse in its stable.”

A lot of recent retirees, good luck to them all and thanks for the memories. Sad to hear Ms Parfois retired, had hoped to see her race again, enjoy your retirement girl!
Agree with peter.h, Magic of Light and Walk In The Mill well worth a punt next year, also interested to find out that Mister Malarky is from the family of Dubacilla (one of my all time favourites) and Just So, if he is in the field next year will be one of my picks.

Yes, great day of racing, won no money apart from backing the made in heaven partnership of Bryony and Frodon,but that is totally irrelevant, just the pleasure of all the great races and stories is priceless!
Interesting to hear they’ve taken Kalashnikov ‘showjumping ‘ to sharpen him up and also much better back left handed so happy to stick with him and e/w Slate House who is still huge price on bet365.
