Perhaps I’m being harsh, but sure Moore dropped his hands with a furlong to go to finish last on the heavily backed favourite The Pouncing Lion.

Given that he was only 3 1/4 lengths behind the winner, IMO he could have eaked out a better finishing position.

“I still would not be surprised to see some sort of co-operation between the Tories and Reform”.

I would say the Tories are closer to Labour than Reform, heck the Conservatives laid the foundations to destroy this country, and Labour have accelerated on these.

Playing God and mucking about with mother nature now BK.

Plants need CO2 to survive, we’ll starve as well now.

All I can say is they do try, but my word they have so many people on there now which may be a strategy in it’s own right.

From C4 and presenter’s like Clare Balding, who also managed to kill it on BBC in my mind, the programme is much improved. I do find myself pausing and skipping through the stuff in between however on occasions.

Richard Hoiles has grown on me. I was irritated at first by his non stop commentating without what seemed like pausing for breath at times.

I like Chapman also. So different from the others and to see some of the expressions from the racing fraternity in the early days was a sight to see.

Trump is doing exactly what he said he would, and what the majority of American people voted for.

Quite the opposite has happened here.

Yes he is terrible isn’t he, trying to find ways of peace in a number of different areas, and save millions of lives.

Overthelast, I watched Vance and it was noticeable to see the general uneasyness within the room that someone was calling these leaders out. I am very pleased they got to hear some home truth’s from someone in authority, who not mainly on here but many echo within this land.

Just how do people think this war will end? It’ll go on for years as it is, many more million’s will die if people are happy with that, the stakes will become higher and there’s an increasing chance of WW3.

It’s funny or rather sad that Trump is trying to solve a problem the left have no idea how to, just keep arming Ukraine is their motto, just where is the end game?

Now, there’s just a chance there maybe one being unfolded in the coming days and if that ends the insanity and the killing, that’s acceptable in my mind.
Putin won’t go any further than he is now.

Like it CAS, and too true.
Most people are polar opposite’s with the main issues of today. I just wonder what is going to happen in the near future as something has to give.

I think all we hope and strive for is Common Sense and looking after your country first.

    Or do we?

There’s no right wing comedy anymore Richard as the left become very upset if you label them in anyway, and they get you shutdown. All right for them however to call ordinary people far right, racists and nazi’s just to shut them up if they don’t agree with their view.

Okay let’s look at those seats of those currently in Parliament, starting with the left.

    404 Labour
    72 LD
13 Independents. People like Corbyn, McDonnell etc.
    9 SNP.
    7 Sinn Fein.
    4 Plaid Cymru.
    4 Green Party.
2 Social Democratic & Labour Party.
515 sub total before we even get to the Conservatives.
1 even the speaker is a leftie.

Now apart from Reform and a couple of unknown’s what’s remaining, 121 Conservatives, the “One Nation” party supposedly a mixture of both left and right. All the main issues of today are the left v the right, no wonder there was chaos and failure in this party, and there will continue to be as long as they exist. They are not fit for purpose, and more and more of their members are waking up to this.

Now I am not going to trawl through 121 MPs, but a supposed fair reflection of their “One Nation” stance would give them 50/50 in both camps.

    515 Confirmed on the left
    60 left Conservatives
    575 in total.

That’s not far short of my estimation of 600 out of 650 which is certainly no laughing matter in a place which is supposed to represent and serve the people of this country. One side is not being represented.

Trouble is when you get such swings and a Parliament which is so out of touch with a large part of the country, the reverse is likely to happen in the next General Election.

You can see the One Nation theory of trying to keep both left are right ‘happy’ may have worked some time ago.
But never in our political party’s history have we ever had issues together such as mass migration, DEI, and Net Zero.

Why would you want to replace and find yet another leader in party which has failed this country for 14 years?

The mainly left leaning Conservatives are more closer aligned to Labour (Uniparty’s) than Reform who are the only true opposition to the very left Parliament.

Some 600 out of the 650 MPs are on left, and that’s no accident!

He did HDLG, but then Biden and Starmer upped the ante, escalated things further and stupidly starting supplying Ukraine with more intense missiles, only for Putin to respond with his hyposonic warheads which had the west reeling.

They have put things back, but he will get peace soon.
Will you be happy with that?

I agree with BCK as I heard from Financial Adviser’s that generally there is no rhyme or reason how the stock market behaves.
It appears to do it’s ‘own thing’.

Well done Trump on getting the Gaza deal done.
He said last week there would be “Hell to Pay” if a deal wasn’t reached before his inauguration this Monday.

The controversial BBC acknowledged begrudgingly in the last two sentences of their 10 minute report that Trump had a SIGNIFICANT impact on the deal being reached.

    Well done that man!

I thought he was pretty effective in the EU Parliament, don’t you Richard?

If you had been approached by the most powerful man in the World and built a good relationship and friendship with him, why not see him, I expect you would.

Farage wasn’t at the rape gang debate because he was in another room an hour before with many other MPs involved and speaking at the debate about the petition with over 3 million votes calling for another election. He was told to stay there until the sitting finished which ended about the same time the rape gang debate did I believe. I’m sure he would have consulted with Lee Anderson on what question to ask.

Farage has recently bought a house in Clacton, and will see his constituent’s more. Already the local’s have said they have seen more of Farage than their previous MP of eight years.

Yes, I do believe the Reform people do care for this country, and us, something Labour and Conservative have and are failing to do on an epic scale.

And why do you believe they don’t care about us Richard? What’s in it for them?
