But if the horse “wins” as a “result” of the jockey getting 7 days for whipping it you still get paid out…… That’s how the system is.

I’m not linking directly to it but an image portraying GE sitting across a collapsed/deceased horse is going around.

Earlier in the week there was a video going around portraying him in a busy pub during lockdown along with whatsapp message allegations.

Somebody is going to a lot of effort to discredit him.

Harry Fry horses are not well with 39 runners/45 days since a win and Anthony Honeyball saying horses were giving an occasional cough. These things are about all the time.

He’ll run (and probably win !) over banks at both Cheltenham and Punchestown. THe national was always a red herring to give newspapers something to print and to give pundits something to get mad about.

Well how about another simple “non trier”- Run For Free in the Scottish National in the 1990s, whips round at the start, loses a furlong, Mark Perrett keeps going and wins. Old Pipey says on Channel 4, “if we had a walkie talkie I’d have said pull him up there’s the Whitbread Saturday week”, so anything left at the start and doesn’t bother, are they non triers ?

We should have a whip round for Hugh because as one wag on twitter has said “he won’t be claiming the childrens allowance” :-D

After seeing the Hugh Morgan “non stirrup and boot falling apart” legendary winning ride doesn’t it beg the question that every horse that ever pulled up in the past under the same circumstances could be classed a non trier ???

https://twitter.com/TimeformLive/status/1360560446575673349 Now “Good to Soft” from “Soft”. Shouldn’t it be called “yielding” really ?

Hi folks, long term lurker but apparently in anticpation of his holiday C Byrnes esquire is trying on for a big one today. He’s having some go at the bookies at Naas. His “Rough Terrain” in the 3.25 backed from 20/1 to 2/1 already and his other in the 4.35 “Hashtagg Watt” is 5/2 from 17/2. Described by a correspondent to me “He’s putting the 2 finger up to the Racing Board”….. Mind you if that “Rough Terrain” wins on form he’ll get another 6 months anyway.
