And no absurd aerial blimps, cameras zooming in on any horse that goes a length clear so you can’t see the end of the race properly, just competent functional camera work and direction that allowed you to see the race.

Well said that man. In particular the fence before the home straight at Doncaster gets my goat, as Ronnie Barker would say.

You can’t have things both ways, “jumps” as you might want to call it is inextricably linked with hunting and always will be. Same as people who hate hare coursing but who are happy to have a night out and back a greyhound at Kilcohan Park or Shelbourne Park.

“Thaddeus” is another name for the apostle Jude.

Whoever was talking nonsense above about the irish name “Tadhg” (and then totally unrelated Taig term in northern Ireland) will find it translates at Timothy. Sweet FA to do with Thaddeus.

Posted last night about the 4 days for Page Fuller and Lorcan Williams for arguing, well tonight Gay Kellaway give a boy a bollocking and she’s in for £250. Like I said “look what the Elliott thing has started……….”.

An enquiry was held following a report from two riders who rode in the third race and observed an incident between Gay Kelleway, the trainer and Oisin McSweeney, the rider of MUKHA MAGIC, in the unsaddling area post-race. Having heard their evidence, Kelleway was found guilty of Improper Conduct and fined £250, in that she had an altercation with McSweeney, using both inappropriate language and speaking in an aggressive manner towards her rider after the race.

The funny thing that I was thinking is that when we were all in the state of “it must be fake” some people pointed out pixelisations of Elliot’s knee and arm and fingers not being quite right. Maybe we should be asking now was this because of who was “cropped out” or covered over by the photoshop masheen…..

Someone mentioned another trainer, gold cup winning, wouldn’t it be ironic and I don’t mean Alanis Morris Minor. Talk is going around of a shebeen, a cat fight and a bun in the oven. What happens in the racing game usually stays in the racing game, until now it seems.

The whatsapp message is still in this tweet. Thinking about it this seems amiss as well.

Most of the situation is in the public domain so yes, why shouldn’t it be debated ?

Your second paragraph is exactly my point. Even the other day Jack Tudor got 7 days after winning a neck on Newlands Cross at Chepstow (albeit that the whip offence was quite a way out), was the penalty proportionate to the gain ?

He may have dealings ongoing with the IHRB already over other issues for all we know so it could be prudent to await developments as not to prejudice anything else.
