I’m £30 for Aintree too this weekend, and although on the steep side, I can get my head round it, but £36 for Wetherby was surely excessive. As Peter asks, was there additional perks involved for that £36
I enjoyed that Cork All Star, but that winning distance is a bit suspect

VTC, here’s my ten.
As you can see my lot are for a bit of fun
Born Famous
Complete Unknown
Edwardstone
Flash Collonges
Hometown Boy
Jet Plane
Killer Kane
Minella Drama
Shan Blue
Thunder RockAmbitious Fellow for me at 14-1, He has to step it up a bit but I think that he can
I can’t see any of these being available at lumpier odds, but I’d love TRW to run, to give me a price on Thunder Rock
I definitely agree with you Gingertipster on your posts. I really enjoyed Champions Day this year
Defi Bleu is my call at 20-1, that’s my main bet. I’ve also had a smaller bet on The Little Yank at the same price
I’m having one bet, and strictly the one bet this far out with Echo Zulu in The Distaff at 10-1
Much kudos to you Kris for the early spot on City of Troy. I wish you well, but I just have an inkling that Henry Longfellow is the one, but at 5-1 I can wait.
I have had an early bet though on Vandeek at 20-1
I do like Alflaila, and even safe in the knowledge that he’s maybe just short of what is required here, I’ve bet him at 20-1
I’ve went with See The Fire at 14-1 after the run today, but I’m not confident that this will be the ultimate target
I can’t see him going here at all, and surely as well burning money, but I’ve taken 50-1 on Arrest
I’m a Fresh backer too at 16-1, but I have also added Magical Spirit at 33-1. I would be happy with either of them making it to Ayr on the day. Both of them would be a nice bonus
Pogo is such a likeable horse, and I think that 28-1 is a little bit insulting. He will do for me
Coltrane all day long for me. He should take some beating. It’s a less than stellar line up, and with that in mind, and as silly as it is to have two in a five runner field, I’ve also taken 50-1 ew on The Grand Visir
I’ve taken two in this also with Annaf at 14-1, and The Big Board at 33-1
I really didn’t like Denmark in his last run, and it was enough to rule him out from running here. I think that it’s almost a foregone conclusion that he’ll have a specific support role to play here, but I bet him anyway 50-1 ew. That’s purely because I liked some of his runs pre-Haydock
