Hoping to see Dashel Drasher run here, rather than The Charlie Hall, as I think he should go close. On the verge of betting him for The Stayers, despite his advancing years, and I’ll probably have to before this.
Not betting him here though, as he’s too short for me.
Going out on a limb with one thought, with Hillview. Outsider of the field, and admittedly miles short of this, but he can throw in the odd big run. He possibly had excuses last time, but I liked his run behind Twig, who’s been in decent form, and he ran well here last season.
Unlikely, but I was happy to have a go at 50’s

October 30, 2023 at 23:38 #1668638Very tricky to weigh up the race at this moment in time.
Thyme hill the right favourite but if Bravemansgame is confirmed for the Charlie hall I would imagine Ahoy Senor would be diverted to this than avoid another trouncing from BMG.
Didn’t Lucinda mention about aiming Senor at the stayers hurdle this season as well?
The rest of them are a pretty motley crew truth be told.
November 3, 2023 at 17:02 #1668947It’s a shame that this might fall to the weather. I’ve always really liked Thyme Hill, but at 14-1 I thought that Red Risk could run better than expected
November 3, 2023 at 19:27 #1668970Looking ominous this going ahead but I dont think this is between the front two. I’m a serial backer of Dashel Drasher but might chance Botox Has with the going and he goes well fresh.
The more I know the less I understand.
November 4, 2023 at 09:02 #1669125Ambitious Fellow for me at 14-1, He has to step it up a bit but I think that he can
November 4, 2023 at 10:03 #1669143The same bet for me Eezer. I think that 14/1 is worth taking
November 4, 2023 at 14:33 #1669234Nicee one RtB, he was tough to get up after flattening the last couple. I’m glad I’m not a staying hurdler, too much like hard work.
November 4, 2023 at 15:08 #1669240Cheers Green must admit I thought his jumping near the end was the nail in the coffin.
The more I know the less I understand.
