Wonderful news.

Authorised may well hack up but i wont be backing him at such a short price.  My selection for the race is Lucarno. Impressive in his last two starts and could turn out to be a very good horse.

Dandan- i meant first run of the season over hurdles.
Great performance from Detroit City especially as he was carrying a big weight and it was his first run of the season.  He looks like an exceptional horse and i honestly cant see anything beating him if he lines up in the 2007 Champion Hurdle. ÂÂÂ
Dandan – Are you just a biased Irishman ?
I am in total agreement with SL on this issue.
The gold cup has always been a lucky race for me. I like Reefscape in this years race. Laid out for this race, will appreciate every yard of the 2 1/2 mile trip (has won over 2 1/2 miles in France) and is trained by the master frenchman.  Connections are brimming with confidence too.  I respect the chances of  Distinction but if the weather forecasters are correct and there is rain on Wednesday then the ground may not be quick enough for that horse.  Sergeant Cecil is an admirable sort but IMO will find one or two too good.  ÂÂÂ
