Why do some people always want to buy all the raffle tickets in a raffle?
Can’t blame the owners for selling though.
just spotted this from simon claisse on cheltenham website
"I was up at Haydock on Saturday and spoke to Francois Doumen before Kasbah Bliss ran. He told me he hoped for quicker ground at The Festival and that we would see a better horse on March 12th – if that is the case, the rest of the Ladbrokes World Hurdle contenders have their work cut out!! "

Move today for Black Apalachi. Tipped up on a prominent site.
Anyone who thinks Denman is value at 7-1 is bonkers.BA is worth 20-1 ew while it’s still there.
When it comes to the Foxhunters at Cheltenham Festival, I always ignore any old timer who has run over rules. The trend on this is very strong.
Tried to log in at work, but our system doesn’t have windows internet explorer 7 and we cannot download it. So I cannot access thte site at all because it can be viewed only using IE7.
Oh well, it’s off to ATR at least things work well there.
Ap’s theory is interesting. but why did David Nicholson do so well there then,
I know it’s not racing, but just had 50-1 on Barack Obama.
Beat nothng, but jumped well and cruised round. RW would have won by more if hadn’t taken wide route between 3rd and 2nd last.
We now know he is fit, but not much else.
AR won an average Sun All. TB is a machine,
But Azertyioup ran in Oct and trotted up in the Arkle.
Always worth watching Nicholls’s entry for 2m novice chFar too early.
Have one tip though for people seeking accommodation. A new Holiday Inn Express has just opened in town centre. Could be a cheap alternative to the ones that are booked year by year.
I know WHills were always on Denman’s side.
In short, the best jumper won. KS made too many minor errors.
I had always thought Denman was a machine, and he proved this convincinglyThe temporary structures have taken weeks to put up. I drive past the course regularly so I can assure they would have needed much longer notice than a few days’ notice to take them down.
As I write, the gusts are still very strong in Cheltenham. I would never want to be in the tented village with all the freeloaders, but I don’t fancy being hit by fllying debris.
At the end of the day, the cops said it’s not safe…and that’s that.
Flash can winge he he likes, but it will make no difference.
it’s easy to comment when you’re nowhere near CheltenhamMy only worry is how I can get through ten races!
The gusts are very, very strong here in Cheltenham. What would have happened if one of the termporary structures blew across the course, hitting horses?
RUK don’t have rights to old Cheltenham Festivals. The BBC holds rights to the Arkle era and 70s and 80s.
