as a regular visitor to the cotswolds for the 3 day open meeting, i always take a close look at the results from the 2 day meeting in october, however, i don’t recall many winners from oct. going on to win in nov. or even runners from oct winning in nov. just wondering if any of the clever bods on here (who may have access to race form interactive etc) could find some stats on this. the only one i can recall is shooting light that won the paddy power after winning in oct.
October 9, 2008 at 02:27 #184081You could be right there – I remember when Exotic Dancer won the Paddy Power he was a big stats negative to win the Boylesports as no horse had done the double for donkey’s years (if ever)

excotic dancer and senor albatrutti won in november and then on into december, was looking to see if the races in october could have any bearing on the november meeting, thanks for the input though.October 10, 2008 at 04:30 #184194And Azerty won on his chasing debut at Market Rasen rather than Chelters didnt he?
I’m sure Pipey must have doubled up with at least a couple though…
