    Mick Fitz?

Nice guy but oh, that droning nasal delivery does my head in.

I just don’t get all the whining about ATR, if anyone pays a subscription (i do to RUK and they are inferior) then ok.

Biggest mistake Sheikh Mohammed ever made was parting ways with Cecil; he would have fared far better with his horses under that great trainer’s tutelage. Bin Suroor did well for a while, of course, but it’s been steadily downhill for His Highness ever since the big split.

You are so right and i often think of Diminuendo, Oh So Sharp, Indian Skimmer and those fantastic days until he pulled out
    from the great man.

That pretty young thing in the Coral ads (with the fat chap) is she going to encourage people to bet with Coral.?

I liked the original when she was in the cafe and was seen walking out, camera from her rear…….whoops posting on the wrong site here.

Well that’s exactly why i voted out, i think we in the UK can take care best of our own without being told by some Luxembourgian wino.
I’ll always have a soft spot for Khalid Abdullah, Rainbow Quest won for me a few times.

We really are a mixed bunch when it comes to the racing presented to us, i’m easy to please mostly with the exception of Mick Fitz. (so boring with a grating voice) and Emma (i need to change my clothes before i go on to the course and is my hair looking good ?)but thankfully Leslie Graham (which camera can i grin stupidly at next ?) has gone for good.
I really like Matt Chapmann and his forthright outspoken views, breath of fresh to a sport that needed honesty and not just lickey lickey.
The other presenters i haven’t mentioned i find all pretty good.

Some on here slating ATR and bumping RUK ? my experience is totally the opposite, i think the presentation of ATR is great (except for Zoe the ex.), Matt Chappman is a stellar star but the RUK team are poor by comparison in my humble working class opinion and i watch both every day.

Lat Sunday on RUK a big German race had an English commentator i’d never heard before and it was hilarious, he got the horse names and colours totally wrong but apologised along with err and umm and all this mid race and when it ended i thought Angus McNae would say something but just carried on stonefaced, it was hilarious so i just hope this race caller never hits our primetime races.
Did any other RF members see this ?, i had tears rolling for many minutes.

I’ve bet sensibly on horses for years (except for a few occasions) and recently decided to take offers from online betting firms, free bets and once the 1st. bet is settled they direct you to thew casino for your ‘bonus’.
Needless to say i will look at the small print and even phone them prior to opening another….and the logo is ‘Please Bet Responsibly’ and they want you to do the opposite.

For me Kachy is a big price at 25/1 so i’m on e/w., best recent run was Ascot 6f and last 2 runs at 5f. had a poor run through at Goodwood last time over a sharp short trip had no chance so i think up to 6f. on a galloping track again i’ll have a little on and being drawn next to Limato is a plus.

I sort of believe reincarnation and karma, Mick Fitz. must have been boiled alive somewhere in his past to be given so many strokes of fortune this time around.
I just don’t see what he offers the racing viewer so maybe he caught someone burying someone along the way as that’s all i can come up with.

Even money now Postponed. Will surely go off odds on ………. ?

You’re sitting on a good bet there but with Varian sending out very few lately and the doubt about the sharp trip i would lay some off if you are on big but a very nice problem to have.

s Dave Nevison drunk, I am sure he is slurring can’t seem to stand up straight.

He was in the dinner lounge at 11.AM on RUK tasting all sorts of alc. treats and said when he was in the ring he had just had a bottle of Stella so to answer your query i would think – yes.
He couldn’t talk any more sense drunk than sober though, RUK sucks but i have to subscribe because they have all the best racing albeit with the worst presentation teams.

You certainly got lucky there Ginge because your bets should have been 2nd. and 3rd. but i’m sure you’ve had things go the other way before but Spencer looking up at the big screen and tugging his horse into Moore’s was awful and he’s lucky it wasn’t Kieron Fallon or he’d be in the Royal Berkshire hospital now having his teeth removed from his anal passage.|

I think what you need with commentators who say something a bit different, who stand out from the pack.

For me Judge, the only standout guy who is 100% genuine is Matt Chapman who many do not like but i think he is a superb entertainer who is not scared of telling it like it is whether that upsets someone or not.

I really cannot see why he gets so much work for both ATR and C4, i’ve never known one pundit get such exposure, seems a nice enough guy but his knowledge is debatable ( gives a 9/2 shot a good e/w chance) and he has a rather annoying dronal
delivery but i guess he ticks all the boxes for those that matter.
