Fists got on Binocular yesterday at 7/4, he even said so yesterday when the 7/4 was clearly there to be shot at, so why imply now that he would be lying for saying he got better than 11/8. IMHO thats a bit tight.

Fists had said before Cheltenham that he had backed Katchit, Masterminded, Binocular and Kauto star, and two of those won. I don’t recollect that at any point he said during the festival that he was sticking his masterminded or katchit winnings on Kauto so I don’t think it is too unreasonable to belive he had a good festival.

If Fists has had a lot of money on Kauto and Inglis Drever today, then he has more than likely had a bad day, but I personally think it is very unsporting to come on and cheer someone having a bad day, wwe all have them.

yesterday’s race was one of the best NH races for a long while. I never thought Our Vic would ever put together 2 great runs so close together as he’s just done. Maybe its the blinkers or maybe he’s finally matured into the good horse a lot of us always thought he was.
Think Nicholls may have got the tactics wrong, but Murphy and Our Vic never let Kauto get away and that was probably the key, to be passed by a horse twice and still beat him is an exceptional effort. I also know people will say Kauto had a tough race at Cheltenham, but then so did Our Vic as did Blazing Bailey and Binocular, so that can’t excuse the loss too much, also Kauto has also been a horse who takes his races well. I for one am glad he ran (not least cos I back Our Vic) and am glad for owners like Clive Smith for running horses and not wrapping them in cotton wool.
