ok, thank you, a breath of fresh air…

you are a good scholar at this… what I want you to do is write down your success, and loss, than ask the question; where or what am I good at, and where do I fall down, explore the positives, and realise the negatives.

No one is good at everything all the time; is not possible, unless omniscent.

As I told you I am (generally) poor at sprints, and have learnt to ignore the 2-y-old races. Equally anything longer than 1m4. On the whole these fail me, or me them.

Once aware of your strengths, and it does seem you know the difference between sh1t and ice-cream; you will regularly profit. Final word is have conviction in your assumptions. If you dont get it this time, you may well the next. Playing with the cards stacked in your favour knowing your strengths, aids this

I know what you mean, I tend to stick with the Irish racing and big English meets as I find it’s easier to work the form out in higher class races. Guess the next big meeting is the Derby meet at the Curragh.

Starspangledbanner is 7/2 for the July Cup, Fleeting Spirit is 7/1. Bothe were a class apart in their respective groups. Your getting 5/4 if you back both and SSB wins, 4/1 FS. Not half bad.

Oilily’s form is head and shoulder’s above the opposition’s at Gowran this afternoon. €10 win @ 13/8. Can’t imagine any of the others being 2nd in the Punchestown Champion Bumper. Otterstown Lady, who beat her on her hurdling debut, has since hacked up in a novice hurdle.

    + €165.28

You obviously know your Irish racing, take a few minutes to look at the QR race at Ballinrobe tomorrow night, if ever a horse stood head and shoulders above the opposition on form, it’s Dessie Hughes’s Grangeclare Gold, RP are forecasting 7/2 !!!!!
I cannot believe that, she has the form advantage closer to a 2/7 shot as far as I can see…unless I’m missing something?

Sorry CS, been busy for a couple of days! Spot on with Grangeclare Gold, well done. Yeah I was reared on the Irish racing, the quality is better and more concentrated. I don’t bother with alot of the English mid-week stuff.
