For a while I thought this animal could be Rare Commodity, who contested some decent bumpers in the 2008-09 eason, but he was nothing special. A particularly average animal. Not all these horses who burn the gallops turn out that good, do they?
On 28/5 this year Edward O’Grady had a very impressive bumper winner. His sire? You guessed it. The Real Article is that horses name, and he runs in the bumper at Tipperary tomorrow. I’m as sure as eggs is eggs this is the animal that had been impressing his handler. He has to give over a stone to a Charlie Swan inmate, which is very important for one reason: It gives us a price

Here’s hoping he’ll do the business!

As Edward O’Grady said today, he’s not he finished article, but he is the real article
September 19, 2010 at 13:46 #318244€10 e/w Alladins Cave 4/1. Been flying lately, only blip when ran 1m 6f instead of 1m4f at Galway

September 19, 2010 at 18:10 #318272Aladdin’s Cave pulled himself up at the line and was almost done out of the win. If JP O’Brien rides him again next time out he won’t make the same mistake again. Hit the front a bit early and the horse didn’t appreciate being infront that long. On the plus side though, he may not rise too much in the weights

September 25, 2010 at 09:52 #319195Had €30 win on Makfi at Evens. I believe he’s the class miler around, I would have fancied him to beat Canford if he had run. The horse seems to have it all, travels well, quickens, and stays. Rip Van Winkle will need to come back to his best form to beat him imo.
+ €181.01

September 26, 2010 at 09:35 #319427Casamento is overpriced at 4/9 for today’s Beresford Stakes, should be 1/4 I feel.
In the Cesarewitch both Swiftmarc and Shamiran hold leading claims and imo should be a lot shorter in the betting than they are. Can’t believe Swiftmarc’s a bigger price than Endless Intrigue.
Swiftmarc €15 e/w @ 16/1
Shamiran €5 e/w @ 14/1
Casamento €45 win @ 4/9+ €98.51

In the Sun Chariot Stakes Saphresa will take all the beating. I’m a follower of both Strawberrydaiquiri and Spacious but both always seem to fall just short. Music Show was a fortunate winner when winning handily from Spacious in the Falmouth, the race set up like a dream for her. However today this will be a tough mile which could again see her involved.
€7.50 e/w Saphresa @ 4/1
€5 place Hen Night @ 7/1 (seems on the up and last run was very promising)I’ve also had a fiver on Lope De Vega @ 20/1 for the Arc
