Remember seeing you tip up bold ring couple of weeks ago, missed him today winning, a nice price too!
October 28, 2010 at 18:18 #325154go back a little bit further jjm and perlachy which won tonight at 8/1 was a selection on its last run but the best one was ahlawy the time after ya put it up it won at 66/1 , bet that was a bit of a kick in the teeth jug unless ya had some on it that is
October 29, 2010 at 06:25 #325209I had perlachy last night, but i didnt put up as a selection as i only started having a look at the racing quite late before the race and didnt want to rush it. So I took my time and backed two losers ha! Quite a few have come up with the goods the races after, another example Join up, winning the day after I put it up.
Disappointing run from T-rex last night, but Mackintosh was much more interesting. Follow when dropped to 7f, especially if he gets dropped a couple of pounds for that run.

The Cheka was brilliant, not quite sure how good that race will turn out to be but brilliant front running effort.
Tidal Bay needed the run as did Rupert Lamb. One to keep on the right side of though.October 31, 2010 at 13:08 #325599Todays selection:

Kempton 5.05 Lyrical Poet 8/1 1pt EW
Akinoshirable (1st) should prove difficult to beat if taking to the surface, however lyrical poet I feel is the value in the race.Reduced to a trip he will be stronger in the finish, has course form in the book.

3.10 Simenon 14/1 2pts EW
Having read a strong case for him by a well respected tipster I am very interested in this horse. The way he travels in the Cesarewitch trial at Newmarket to the 2 pole over 2m2f defines tanking before stamina did fail. Running over the slightly shorter 2m trip seems perfect. Has decent form lines and is a good shout to get in the first 5 (at 1/4 odds with stan james).Total Invested: 4pts

4.00 Southwell Bel Cantor 16/1 3pts WIN, 2pts PLACE
Sitting at the bottom of the weights, a very well treated horse. Down to a lowly mark of 63 with a 7lb claimer, technically racing off a mark of 56 in a class 5 race. To prove how low this is, in February this year Bel Cantor won over course and distance off a mark of 80 (with a 3lb claim) in a class 3 race. A decent draw should help, it’s likely he will be dropped out early doors, and then flash home late. Needs luck in running, but is very well treated and will be ready to strike off the featherweight. I am most faerful of Kipchak who I think I put up not so long ago, another well treated individual.
So when I said he would be dropped out the back door I didn’t expect Bel Cantor to hang around as much as he did. Very disappointed with the run, but there was clearly positive vibes of a good run happening, with the price of 16s last night quickly evaporating and was down to 11/2 second fav by the off. One to keep on the right side of for the next couple of runs.
November 10, 2010 at 22:16 #327412p.s. no selections for tomorrow…I’m sulking (/no decent opportunities!)
