Thanks Jac, we go back to the Hospital on Thursday morning, if this doesn’t
work I think London is a step too far and surgery is likely. Keeping positive
though and these guided injections using a CT scanner might just do the trick.
this time. As Nathan said, fingers crossed :good:

Well it’s quarter to 6 and I haven’t slept a wink. Mrs G has developed
a hell of a cough, almost like croup and she’s just fallen asleep. i
know she’ll be sitting up in a few mins coughing more. I’m expecting
a plague of locusts to hit me when I open my door later or it might
be raining frogs. WTF next

Graham what a nightmare for you both.
Hope would be that you could possibly get Marjorie moved up the ladder for her injection with that cough not doing her condition any favours..please take care we are all with you. Jac x

    Hello Everyone,

So very sorry to hear about Marjorie’s setbacks Graham. I hope the medical experts can figure this out so she can finally be rid of the pain. I can’t even begin to imagine what she’s going through (& you too watching her suffer). Keeping you both in my thoughts my friend. Take good care and stay safe.

Dog/puppy sitting went well. Noodle (about 12 weeks old long haired Dachshund) is just too cute and adorable. She loves to cuddle, when she’s not running amok like a crazy thing! Her big sister (6 yo Weimaraner) takes it all in stride. I’m not sure if I can just paste a pic in here or not… (apparently not)….

Another weekend with no racing – it’s amazing that this “big freeze” is still going on – I haven’t lived in the UK for a long time, but I don’t remember it being so cold for such a long period. Hopefully we’ll get racing back by Boxing Day.. hard to believe it’s just over a week away!

    Stay Safe and Warm Everyone.

Just on for a minute. Marjorie is in Hospital, I had to call
an Ambulance on Saturday. She had a temoerature of 39.7. She
had been sleeping as we got no sleep during the night. She
wasn’t making any sense and I called 999. She is still in
Dunoon A&E but is being transferred to Inverclyde at the
moment. She has a bad chest infection and a UTI. Not a
    good combination.

I’ll try and keep you in the loop, I’m just heading to the
ferry now. I don’t know what else can go wrong.

All thoughts with you and Marjorie Graham.

It must all feel like a walking nightmare at the moment for you
but as the guys said you did the right thing and acted quickly and now she is in good hands.
They can give some strong antibiotics by IV which will quickly reduce that temperature so hopefully when you get to the hospital Marjorie will be more
    comfortable.
Take care and let us know how Marjorie is getting on when you can..Jac x :rose:

I can’t get in to see Marjorie, she is still in A&E in Inverclyde but
isolated. She is on antibiotics and oxygen. She is going to be moved to an
isolated room if they have one or it may be an isolated ward. They say its
flu but they keep checking for Covid. I’m really at my wits end.

That’s much appreciated Sam. They have moved her, I spoke
with the sister of the ward (acute medical receiving ward
J North) I’m still not allowed in but if I phone at 11am,
after the rounds, they will give me a run down. She’s Still
a bit confused and they are investigating the UTI which I’m
    told can cause confusion.

    Sod’s Law, I’ve developed a bit of a racking cough I’m aching a bit
chest shoulders and back. My throat is like I’ve swallowed
glass. This is all I need

Graham I would get looked at in A & E while your there if you can Dave had those exact symptoms about a month ago and it was a chest infection that needed antibiotics. Catch it early don’t let it develop.
Take care and hope you are able to get more news on Marjorie and see her soon.
Thoughts are with you today and look after yourself..Jac x

Thanks Jac, I’m waiting on the doc phoning back.I was told to take
a covid test, which I’ve just done, but it is showing negative. I
suppose that’s something but I feel like death warmed up. Not sure
what the doc will say, maybe get a his and hers room for me and
    Marjorie over in Inverclyde :good:

Hello Graham, So sorry to hear about Marjorie being admitted to hospital. I’m sure it’s all very worrying for you. I hope by the time you see this that you’ll have received some better news about her. I’m sure she’s in good hands and will get well taken care of. As Jac said, don’t wait – get yourself checked out while you’re there… you need to take care of yourself too.

You’ve certainly both had a rough time lately. Hang in there, things will get better. Take Care of yourself and we’ll keep you both in our thoughts.
