Anyone? Renegade would be my choice if he wasn’t in the dreaded 1 post, but Commandment is my top pick. I also like Golden Tempo as a longshot for his pedigree + connections (Phipps Stable), he’s bred to run all day long.

Great tipping, MW. I only wish I had taken your advice!
The winner has come from so far back, I can only assume the pace up front has collapsed in the last furlong.
It is a good news story for racing due to the first woman to train a Kentucky Derby winner.
The Phipps Stable colours, which to my eye looked like a black jacket with a red cap, made me think of all the Jim Joel horses on this side of the Atlantic from days gone by.
May 3, 2026 at 00:26 #1765791Well how about that?
That classic Phipps breeding comes through https://www.pedigreequery.com/golden+tempo3. Renegade did very well to make it through all that jostling at the start but he had every opportunity to pass Golden Tempo down the stretch and couldn’t get there.May 3, 2026 at 08:44 #1765809That was some race well done Miss Woodford

The more I know the less I understand.
May 3, 2026 at 14:45 #1765888Well done Miss Woodford, top tipping
