It was horrible Raymo, he was going so well up with the leader and then it looked as though something went badly wrong and he dropped back very quickly.
Just 4 years old and full of potential, so sad.

We all love our horses and I know every one of us on here would give up all our winners to have seen this boy make it back to his stable safely…

Like being let loose in a sweet shop NW B-)

    Thunder Snow
    Dream Castle
    Blue Point

Many like Heavy Metal with double entries so interesting to see where they end up nearer the time.
    Best of luck everyone…Jac :rose:

Thanks for your work Jac and NWalton :bye:
I think it’s a smart move to give Blue Point a prep race over 6F, well done CA ;-)
Here it should be key that Blue Point can familiarize with the Meydan 6F and that he comes out of the race fit and well, so please take care William Buick. But of course he will know this much better than me..

Jac, I got another one not to miss for you: On Thursday Aircraft Carrier runs at Chelmsford, the only thing I’m not happy with is Queally on board. Hopefully the horse is so good to win anyway, but I’m not sure if this race will become very tactical  , what would you think?

    @hein
Thanks for the heads up on Aircraft Carrier Hein :good: what a shame Martin Harley is currently in Happy Valley riding.
Have to hope that Tom Queally will keep AC covered up without getting blocked in as has happened with the two times he was apprentice ridden, he’s not on Frankel now but Aircraft Carrier does have a killing turn of foot which I’m certain will get him home.

Only 6 runners 2 of which have not won over the distance, Armade not really beaten that much although he was running on at the finish, Higher Power (4th) was half a length behind Grey Britain (3rd) in a slow run race at Kempton 16th Feb won by a front running outsider.

Grey Brittain has only won one race at the distance but he is the danger being such a versatile little horse with a top jockey up.

With only 6 horses can’t see Queally encountering too much trouble and with his experience of the track Aircraft Carrier should coast home :good: Good luck Hein ..Jac :rose:

Thank you very much Jac for your clear statement and brilliant analysis :good:
I also rate this horse superior, but I would have very much preferred Ryan putting Kirby on AC.
Then I would have played AC with full faith and bigger stakes, like this my bet will stay smaller.

For Super Saturday I see your Dream Castle as a great bet, if he really will be available for 2/1 or slightly less I probably will get on bigger, as I don’t see any real danger for him, this Wootton is always fancied, but his runs are mostly not too exciting. Blue Point I will only watch and enjoy, as he will stand ultra short, but we can talk about this later :bye:

Thanks Hein I hope to be having a nice bet on AC on Thursday if the price is right, I have him down in the ante post tipping contest to win the All Weather Marathon Championships at Lingfield on 19th April so he’s going to have to impress..

Thinking of a small trixie with Thunder Snow, Dream Castle and your boy Blue Point  on Saturday but again price dependant, looking forward to it…come.on the blues :yahoo:
best of luck Hein and all players on our Meydsn Thread of hope. Jac :rose:

I’ve done the treble NW :good: and a nice single at 2/1 Dream Castle so pleased with the price. :good:

Out at moment shopping with my daughter, so I’ll get back re Wooton later if that’s ok. :rose:

We are on a short break next week to Dubai from Monday to Saturday and I’m going to Meydan on the 14th :yahoo: not a Festival day of racing but going to love the experience. It was a joint birthday surprise trip that we have been promising to do.

Hope to maybe see a few of the World Cup hopefuls excercising in the morning at the hotel :yahoo: I’ll be on special look out for Blue Point Hein

Back later and sooo looking forward to Super Saturday and the trip of course…Jac

Hi All – Currently in Dubai on holiday with the wife and we are going to Super Saturday on err… Saturday. I would love to have some Racing Forum tips for this once in a life time event. Thank you.

Great Jac, I wish you a very pleasant and enjoyable stay :bye:
It would be fantastic if you could take some great shots of Blue Point and then ideally load them up here B-) ?!
I would also like to read your thoughts on Wooton, the horse he was in France I wouldn’t rate too dangerous, but maybe Charlie A. improves him considerably?

Hi CNC, enjoy your holidays in Dubai, as a winner I could recommend you Blue Point, but he won’t pay much to say the least. Probably he’s more to watch and enjoy which I will do, but unfortunately only on stream

    HI CNC

I fancy Wootton in the last EW, but I’m up against the boys in blue expert Jac, who fancies Dream Castle.

In 2.20 (The City Of Gold) wont be much of a price but think the drop back to 12 will suit Old Persian

    Have a great time
