thanks again Jac
February 26, 2019 at 11:52 #1399122final decs up on RP site looks tricky card ( i have said that a few times this carnival)
Good luck and let’s hope to get a few more wins on the board
February 27, 2019 at 17:24 #1399208prices have not got my pulse racing(for my picks)
skybet for a while went 3s Good Fortune but thats long gone not really interested at the 15/8,7/4 on offer now
Brundtland in 4.15 was hoping for evens but odds at moment and won’t be playing again at those prices
Onto the 5.25 where I have had a little EW on Mubtasim at 5s, I am hoping his return to form last time out is not a one-offIn the lucky last (sorry Jac) i am siding with Desert Fire again EW 4s (1234)
Good luck everyone and fingers crossed for a few more winners for this thread
February 27, 2019 at 17:43 #1399210One horse one price really got my attention and that is EARNSHAW at 18/1. This one ran over the wrong trip last time and back to 10 furlongs should not be this price!!
My old mate (or not ) Bedouins Story has dropped in trip which would not be a problem if he could actually come out of the stalls at a decent pace!!
IBN MALIK is interesting back at a proper trip after crazily been tried over sprint trips!! 8/1 worth a bet!!
ISPOLINI 4/1 won well last time over this trip and could go in again!!
Good Luck Guys
February 28, 2019 at 00:39 #1399259Late to post tonight NW but looks like we might be agreeing once again this week…

I’m just having small bets in 3 races tomorrow, so here we go…
3.05 (1 mile – Turf – Listed)
GOOD FORTUNE (New Approach)
Yet to win over 1 mile but won here over 7 furlongs running on nicely on 10th January.
If I were to look elsewhere for a decent EW bet it would be
TROLIUS – EW around 11/1 at the moment and he could provide a bit of value with Good Fortune’s
price slip sliding away
James Doyle takes the ride and Trolius ran a decent 3rd to a horse
that I think a lot of Art Du Val.4.15 (1m6f – Turf – Group 3)
BRUNDTLAND has the class and I’m not backing against him.
5.25 (7 furlong – Turf)
Mubtasim seems to have found a new lease of life since switching from William Haggass’s yard to Charlie Appleby, but for me he has never been a consistent enough horse following up a decent win with a bad run and so on, so it has to be…
ON THE WARPATH who drops back to 7f and seems to be knocking on the door enough times to win tomorrow.
If Raymo’s Bedouins Story could get off to a flying start under Kevin Stott he stands a good chance to win this so I will put him in a Reverse Forecast with On The Warpath.
6.00 (1m 2f – Turf)
As I don’t have any runners at all in my Fantasy League tomorrow I’m dreaming that Zorion will be declared a non runner and James Doyle will jump on reserve ASOOF (who is in my league) and win this
, but I guess that will just remain a dream
so in the absence of Asoof it has to be….
DESERT FIRE
Second to Nordic Lights last time out and with a first time visor to sharpen him up he should run a good race at his best distance.
Good luck NW, Raymo, BigG and all players, should be some good racing later today and I’m a bit late taking my prices so off to Paddy Power now to see what I can get on the above…Jac
xThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 28, 2019 at 15:16 #1399282Well, Good Fortune didn’t have any of his namesakes, what a nightmare run.
February 28, 2019 at 15:45 #1399283Ibn Malik ran well Raymo
two winners for Simon Crisford
February 28, 2019 at 16:45 #1399287Just back in and missed all earlier races, I’ll catch up shortly but I’ve had a few quid
on Very Talented in the 4.50. I took the 8/1 with Betfred, I think that
looks a big price.February 28, 2019 at 16:56 #1399288I wished I had been even later back in, well beaten with half the race to go
February 28, 2019 at 17:05 #1399289I’ll have another stab with Above N Beyond at 12/1 in the 5.25. Has been
hauled in at the end in both his last starts. I think the drop back a furlong might be just
enough for him to keep his head in front this time.February 28, 2019 at 17:44 #1399292What a day of mixed fortune.
I was on Very Talented also Graham but missed the race, he seems to have lost his way recently
Just redeemed my day with On The Warpath coming home, Mubtasim ran much better than predicted.
Hoping I can find my first last race wimner this Festival with Desert Fire coming in..fingers crossed ..Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 28, 2019 at 17:51 #1399293Any news on Brundtland?
It didn’t look that good.
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 28, 2019 at 17:55 #1399294I’m with you on Desert Fire Jac at 7/2. Bit of a recovery race for me here having
watched my 2 picks go down in flames. Actually I can’t complain about Above N Beyond, he ran a
decent race and only failed by 1 place to get into the money in 4th. Here’s hoping DF can do us both
a favour
February 28, 2019 at 17:57 #1399295Blimey folks this Desert Fire has no chance cos I am on too!! hell of a lot of overweight with us all on it!!
I have had a small each way on Original Choice at 20/1 too!!
February 28, 2019 at 18:18 #1399298You were right Raymo he obviously felt the weight of our bets.
The red hat wins the last and I just got my stake back today thanks to On The Warpath.
Onwards and upwards NW
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 28, 2019 at 18:52 #1399300only just managed to get on site(kept getting a message about a server whatever that means.lol)
Well done with On The Warpath Jac and to any other winners. Two bets two places for me so a small deficit on daySorry to say Jac Brundtland had to be put down, which has put a dampener on the day
February 28, 2019 at 19:03 #1399302just seen the 4/1 winner Raymo put up, well done
