Am happy with the last to winners

Well done guys with the earlier winners
Most of them too short for me.
I thought Roy Orbison ran okay but Tis Marvelous was awful finished last
February 15, 2018 at 18:16 #1342380sorry raymo didn’t see the old boy tipped up by you also, well done mate
February 15, 2018 at 18:25 #1342381Well played winners – good day all round. Should have listened to you guys with POA, as Natural Scenery was the last leg of my Yankee. NM still a good day and nice returns.
Theres a meeting at Meydan on Saturday….so you dont even need to wait until next week!
Shall I keep on delivering the good news?
February 15, 2018 at 18:28 #1342382cheers clint and well done
February 15, 2018 at 18:43 #1342385Good stuff everyone. The 2m race certainly won’t bring us the winner on World Cup night.
February 15, 2018 at 19:16 #1342392Well, at least Promising Run will run again on Saturday, and I hope promisingly..
February 15, 2018 at 19:33 #1342397I didn’t realise there was carnival racing this weekend
What a bonus, see you all Saturday 🤓
February 15, 2018 at 19:57 #1342400@heinbollow
Sorry Hein I was out early evening, hope you had a wee bet on Beautiful Romance at Chelmsford, I left it today as she was so short but glad that she won.
Good luck with Promising Run on Saturday with you 100% on that one
Well done to all with Prince of Arran and Hors De Combat…Raymo you were on fire today and think between all of us we managed to find the winner of every race today..what an achievement.

See you all Saturday..Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 15, 2018 at 20:09 #1342404Hi Jac, no problem, you can’t be online all the time, as there are better things to do in life..
I was missing your answer, but then I decided to give Beautiful Memory a go, and this even compensated my Natural Scenery losses. So happy ending for today..
I hope Promising Run won’t be too short, then I will bet him.
I have no concerns about Pat Cosgrave, because as I observed, he rides very well at Meydan, not only today!February 15, 2018 at 21:11 #1342423Beautiful Memory (not Romance
)seems to like Chelmsford Hein
Well done with her tonight and looking forward to a profitable Saturday and lots more flat action…have to get studying..good luck everyone, great Thread ‘N’…Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 16, 2018 at 08:37 #1342455With three winners, but most importantly Hors De Combat winning, I can finally say, I made a profit last night. Marginal improvement to 8 winners from 33 selections on this thread. Thank god i stick to small stakes away from tracks I like. I really struggle to get a grips of Meydan racing. If it wasn’t for the fun of this thread, i would avoid even looking at the card tbh. Nice to get a few winners though. And a small profit for once.
For the first time on this thread. My mission is complete

Well done all – lots of winners on a tough day’s racing
February 16, 2018 at 10:12 #1342468Not the worst day, not the best.
Best Solution winning, and Prince of Arran…Gold Town hosing up, but i didnt touch him at the price.
Kafoo Shememi 6/1 e/w so money back- jockey for me went too early and i think he can be marked up on that run.
Jupiter Light did nothing, Eqtiraan, doesnt do himself any favours at the start.
Well done all!

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!February 16, 2018 at 14:12 #1342508nice little card tomorrow, be interesting to see how Bravo Zolo gets on on the dirt. He is 4/6 on AW surfaces
A tricky little sprint to open the card, if push come to shove I would side with recent winner Faatinaah, who could well get his own way up front. They didn’t come back in the sprint on Thursday.
I backed Opal Tiara LTO but she ran a lifeless race and I see no reason why she should reverse form with easy winner Promising Run in The Balanchine
The last looks the most competitive of the day and I will side with Van Der Decken with the hope that a step back up to seven will eek a little improvement out of him
5.25 if an EW price will play the French raider In The Lope to reverse form with easy winner Mountain Hunter
February 16, 2018 at 15:56 #1342518Looking forward to having a look through this later today when I get to the airport bar!

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!February 16, 2018 at 18:52 #1342525if anyone fancied Van der Decken tomorrow he is generally 11/4 5/2 but Skybet go 5s. No use to me as cant get on with said firm
February 16, 2018 at 20:11 #13425342.30- A tricky opener. Initially my eye was drawn to Tupi, i selected him 2 weeks ago for his last run..Hannon hasn’t a great record here at all. Something i’ve noticed with most of these “slowly away” tends to be common amongst the reports…As this is a small field, the favourite who doesn’t hang about may get an easy lead. Normally at that price i would take him on, and he does seem solid. I will chance Tupi W/O him when the betting is available, but i can’t help but feel he will arrive too late..
3.05- Not my bag at all
3.40- Brave Zolo 11/2- Heavy Metal might well hack up here, but back to a mile should suit BZ and the form with Lord Glitters reads well. I will chance him at the price as he’s bigger than i expected.
4.15- Not getting involved, Yalta is short, but probably should be winning.
4.50- Promising Run should be winning this, again too short for me to back. Absolute Blast should outrun her odds if she gets back to her best…
5.25- In The Lope- 8/1 e/w should strip fitter for recent run, and hopefully will stop him pulling so much. Mountain Hunter won well, but is worse off at the weights and had a prep for his last run, so hopefully my selection can get closer.
6.00- currently on the beers, and cant make my mind up….TBC! Muntazah 14/1 ew. some decent form, 7furlongs may suit him. Ibn Malik is overpriced on his form if back to best, but jockey bookings swayed me to this guy.wide open race\1

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!February 16, 2018 at 23:11 #1342557Not awe inspiring card tomorrow apart from Promising Run and Heavy Metal and Yalta who are very short prices so may put them into a treble.
Here are my final choices…2.30 .. Baccarat – Win
Beaten just a neck by ‘N’s’ choice Faatinah last time out.
That day he was slowly out of the stalls and combining a quick start with the one pound less weight he has to carry might just see him home tomorrow in front of his rival.
3.05 .. Tafakhoor – Each Way
Normally I wouldn’t get involved with this race it looks much too difficult. But going for the grey by Dark Angel for an each way bet here.3.40 .. Heavy Metal – Win
Won’t be much of a price but not prepared to take the chance on Bravo Zolo running on the dirt track.
4.15 .. Dubai One – Win
She’s back
and this time running on the dirt so have to give her another chance to show the potential she showed when winning at Lingfield 30th December. Her hardest test to date having to take on Yalta but well in at the weights and top jockey on board.
Last time on turf at Meydan she didn’t seem able to improve her run going up and down on the spot, sure she will find herself more at home on the dirt track tomorrow.
4.50 .. Has to be Promising Run **NAP** – Win
No more to say.
5.25 .. Not a fan of Blair House seems too unrealiable so hoping that…
Mountain Hunter – Win can carry that extra 5 pounds and win this.
Can foresee a ding dong of a battle at the finish with Kidmenever and think a forecast might be appropriate.Mountain Hunter/Kidmenever (Reverse Forecast)
6.00 .. Top Score – Win
Was runnning on, but only 5th, in the race won by Salsaabel last month, 3rd horse Hors de Combat scored on Thursday.
He won a listed race at Meydan this time last year and is in with a chance against the popular Van Der Decken.Good luck everyone, hope your beers don’t cloud your judgement up there Jack
Its going to be a tricky days racing and not splashing too much cash the bookies way..
Jac
