Meant to post this yesterday the day of the contest.
A recent article I read telling of a University sampling and analysis of waste water, in the UK, looking for illegal substances found that bank holidays, weekends, big sporting events were found to be times when drug use spiked. Also Eurovision was found to be an event which produced a spike in drug use.
Do you have to be stoned to watch it or does it just help?

I did listen to the winning song afterwards. To me it sounded like a generic version of every other Eastern European Eurovision entry over the years but not one of the good ones ( which I usually like).

I feel that way with modern songs for a while, what I liked about songs from the 60 to the 90’s (not all though) is the lyrics. I think if I ever get dementia like my mother got late in her life, the one thing which would help me to remember are good songs with some decent lyrics.
