Hi Jac, it was a decent week for me in the competition, but I think you’ll find that
Tonge holds top spot with 2940 PTS and position 494 in the league. I’m on 2900 PTS and
in position 503, I’m happy enough with that. It’s been a cracking week all in for me,
and it couldn’t have come at a better time with Cheltenham only a few weeks away
February 17, 2019 at 15:17 #1397822Thanks for that Graham and apologies Tonge you are numero uno this week.
I had just marked up my Saturday comp before popping over here and still had it in mind that you were top scorer this week Graham
You must be pretty pleased with that fantastic big race double as Cheltenham creeps ever nearer.I think you get as over excited about Cheltenham as I do about The Craven Meeting kicking off (only another 2 months now
) but I’m still sure I might see you one day on the Rowley Mile
, your pretty good at sorting some decent flat horses and this comp is keeping us all up to speed.IWho knows if Ginger’s 10 to follow for the flat will kick off, I really hope so as always felt it would be interesting to see how the flat enthusiasts faired against the jump fans.
I just love horse related competitions, the more the better.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 17, 2019 at 19:25 #1397839In the lead! Blimey, that’s a turn up. Sure it won’t last.
Agree. I love a competition. Hopefully Ginger can come up with something for the flat. I’m in awe of those who organise these competitions. I know I’d never have the dedication & patience.

I have Gold Town – 1st and Alqabah – 5th
I was going to put Alqabah 8th but thought James Doyle on board so could be a bit closer.

Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 21, 2019 at 12:05 #1398607I’ve gone for 3rd & 4th respectively – without much confidence. A tricky race.
I have mysteriously risen to 493rd, without gaining any extra points. Assume somebody must have dropped out (or been disqualified?). No runners today though so will be slipping down again. I did consider using a swap as Godolphin seem to have some good chances in group races. Wondered if I could try to anticipate who might be running next week and combine but couldn’t really find enough information so will leave it.
Good luck to anyone with runners and bonus race selections
February 21, 2019 at 13:10 #1398618It seems I’ve been more positive (or foolhardy) than most, I’ve gone for 1st and
3rd (Gold Town 1st). I’ve got runners today so I’m hoping I can pick up some points.
That’s an odd one Tonge, but I’m in the same boat….503 to 502
Good luck all today with the bonus, and to those who have some runners in their stable
February 21, 2019 at 14:25 #1398631I’ve also graduated 1 point up the leaderboard to 510, but if it’s ok with everyone I’ll leave the alterations until we get todays position sorted, think I’ll be getting a sinking feeling with just the one runner.
Good luck everyone for today

If so, that’s my points for todayGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
February 21, 2019 at 15:01 #1398638It did indeed Nathan….well done mate
February 21, 2019 at 15:59 #1398646Well done Nathan and Raymo
So far only Spotify for max points but I think Symbolization might win the last.
Hes not in my stable though
Im going to be on zero points today, just waiting patiently for Super Saturday to come around, its a tricky old contest but the points are there to be had..in the big Group races
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 21, 2019 at 17:28 #1398661Typical run from Bedouin!!
February 22, 2019 at 00:15 #1398686As expected nil points for me this week, still on 2080 points and 648th place.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 22, 2019 at 01:19 #1398696Don’t worry about it Jac, you did right to hang on to your swaps for the big races to come.
It turned out not a bad day for me today, 1,200 points scored, which considering I got zilch
from the bonus race is pretty good by my standards. It puts me on 4,100 points and up to 417th
place
February 22, 2019 at 10:19 #1398703Great score Graham and it shows how far up the leaderboard you can move with such a good score
keep going.
I’m hoping some of my horses in my stable will run next Thursday. It’s such an interesting competition as in the UK we never see so many Godolphin horses taking each other on, it’s almost like they are training in public and we are getting a really good idea (I hope) of the weaknesses and strengths of their horses.
The big guns are still to fire and really looking forward to the 2 big Saturdays to come in March. All in all we’re not doing bad as a team keeping within the 1000 mark with 2800 players.
Someone called Doughnuts is leading the competition
Raymo… is there something you want to tell us??
