6210 points – 399th.
I swapped my entire stable last night and then used my last swap after the 3rd race today, swapping the first 4 runners for 4 in the final race. Unfortunately the one I left out was First Contact so missed out on 300 points (still wouldn’t have caught Big G though!). Worth knowing that we can do this. Maybe could have left it even later.
Have a great time Jac. Look forward to seeing the photos
March 9, 2019 at 17:24 #1400400Thanks for getting the points in so quickly everyone and CONGRATULATIONS to BigG who with a fantastic 7480 Points and in 242nd place must be our top scorer and therefore
WINNER OF THE TRF GODOLPHIN FANTASY LEAGUE COMPETITION
Not sure what prizes Godolphin have sent to Cormack Graham but hopefully David has received them by now and will let us know in due course…very well done.
I had a good bet on Dream Castle today and Each Way on First Contact I went in again at 28/1 FC and 9/4 Dream Castle what a great price.
I’m hoping First Contact will come over and run in The Lincoln on 30th March, I did a little write up on him on The Lincoln Thread last week, but with such a good run they may keep him in Dubai for the World Cup.For what it’s worth my score was 6140 – 409 position.
I think as a League we would have come pretty high up the Leadertboard.

Will update the Leaderboard later tonight and once again well done Graham a fantastic score….bet you’re hooked now..LOL
JacThanks for all your good wishes Tonge, Raymo, Graham, Nathan and TKF..Really looking forward to it, might need BigG to come and sit on my suitcase to help close it with all the stuff I’ve packed.

Just waiting for The Krypton Factors results, but he didn’t update last week so not sure if he played today, Hopefully he will let us know if reads this.
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 9, 2019 at 18:17 #1400414Thanks Jac, I really enjoyed the competition and to be honest I think that I had a
good deal of luck on my side. Hopefully Godolphin get things in place so that we can
all have a go at it again, and you don’t have to try and keep tabs as to where everyone
is.You must be buzzing now, not just from the amazing punting day you had, but also with
that brilliant trip ahead of you. I don’t know about sitting on your suitcase, I wouldn’t
mind sneaking inside and seeing the fantastic sights out there. It really is the trip
of a lifetime. I’ll be thinking about you when I’m down at Cheltenham, aren’t we lucky
to be heading to two places that we love. Have a ball out there Jac

Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 9, 2019 at 23:12 #1400437FINAL DAY SATURDAY MARCH 9TH 2019….and the winner is
BigG………………………7480 Points – 242
Tonge……………………..6210 Points – 399
Triptych…………………..6140 Points – 409
Raymo…………………….4790 Points – 602
Nathan Hughes…………..4340 Points – 673(not played in the past 2 weeks)
The Krypton Factor……….????Points – ????CONGRATUALTIONS BigG for finishing in the top 250 players, that is some achievement and who knows where you could end up in the next competition.
I expect David will be in touch with news of your prize but I’m sure just being the winner of our TRF Godolphin Fantasy League is prize enough.
Well done to Tonge for coming in second place with some shrewd moves on the last day and for choosing the right Bonus horse.
Myself, Raymo and Nathan made up the remainder but have to say that considering the number of players in the Fantasy League to all have finished below 675 is a really good effort and next time with the rules well and truly etched in our brains..Nathan
great things will be expected team..

Have a great Cheltenham Graham and everyone, I’ll thinking of you when I’m at the Meydan racecourse looking out for Blue Point and Dream Castle to be having a gallop down the course. The Normal raceday as they call it should be an experience and just to be there seems like a dream at the moment….
Quick thank you to John Gooch who back on Page 5 of this Thread put us straight on the Transfers and end date of the competition otherwise I think I’d still be hanging onto my transfers at this moment.

Really enjoyed the competition and looking forward to the next phase whenever that is but hope that we are able to put in a League and play as a Team on the Godolphin site. Hopefully David will put out the word so that we might get some more players interested next time but hopefully with an easier way of totting up the scores as it will be during the flat season when I find time is a bit tight. If it doesn’t happen there’s no reason why we can’t report back here from time to time how we are fairing, look forward to that…
Thanks to all for playing
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 10, 2019 at 00:39 #1400448Cheers Jac, I’m quite chuffed, particularly because it’s a flat competition and I think
of myself as a jumps man. I’m definitely being lured to the dark side
Thanks so much for running our wee league, and I’ve enjoyed the banter along with the
racing. Here’s hoping we can all get together with a new improved Godolphin competition
site, once they have the leagues section up and running. I’m a true blue fan now
March 10, 2019 at 01:19 #1400455
glad to hear it Graham you played a cracker
, Now I only have to win Bobby’s 10 to Follow compy
Do you think NTD is getting BDM prepared as I say this to win the Gold Cup and the Grand National can you have a word in his ear if you see him at Cheltenham.
Better get some sleep it’s been such an exciting day.
Night 🌙 🌙 🌟
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...March 10, 2019 at 12:25 #1400501Lol, I’ll do my best Jac
April 30, 2019 at 19:42 #1429918Had an email notification (as all who are already in will have). Next round starts “next month”. Next month is actually tomorrow so stay vigilant!
April 30, 2019 at 22:16 #1429932Thanks for that Tonge, I would have missed it as for some reason the email went into my spam
folder (which I rarely check). I’ve changed to make sure Godolphin emails get through in future.
The site says “no live competitions at the moment”, so as you say we will need to keep a check
April 30, 2019 at 23:38 #1429940Thanks Tonge and Graham for staying so vigilant.
I too went to the site only yesterday and didn’t see anything.Did you get your prize sorted out ok Graham?
Interesting to see if they mention anything about a League competition this time.Keep updating and hopefully won’t be too long before they advise of the start date. Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...May 1, 2019 at 10:02 #1430137I hope they do take on Corm’s suggestion of a mini leagues league Jac, I’m sure it would
stir up more interest for them. I did contact David and he sent me an email saying he would
pass on my details to them and he hoped I’d get one or two nice items. Still waiting
May 1, 2019 at 12:10 #1430175Sorry to hear that Graham, leave it a little longer and perhaps PM David.
Looking forward to the start of phase 2 of this contest and, in the absence of a mini league hope we can keep each other up to date with our progress up the leaderboard, enjoy all tbe chat and banter.

Dont think I can run a compy as such this time, as trying to free up time when flat season on the go, but if we post our scores as the Godolphin leaderboard changes I could certainly post up the monthly leader and podium positions, hope that’s ok…Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...May 1, 2019 at 16:03 #1430217That sounds fine Jac, we can all dig in and keep it going if they don’t start a mini league
of leagues on the Godolphin site. That’s us now into May, but no change on their site, still
no mention of a impending competition. I’ll keep checking
May 1, 2019 at 17:38 #1430253Great .. Thanks Graham.
