January 4, 2019 at 07:25 #1391260I have 500 points thanks to Racing History and Dream Castle, putting me in 255th place.
January 4, 2019 at 10:43 #1391268Great first day score BB
and to those lucky enough to gain some points.
I will look into getting some sort of Monthly Leaderboard going here, just for fun, next week when our house gets back to normal…do keep posting any updates and don’t forget to look out for the competitions that come up on a regular basis on the Godolphin Club and within the Fantasy League..JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...January 4, 2019 at 10:50 #1391269Just checked and I’m 1181st with 80 points. Top Score 2nd place.

International Group races boost points too, lots of them to come.
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...January 7, 2019 at 01:15 #1391647I knew I was out of my depth before I started in this one, I’ve had 2 runners
and zero points…….position 1481, so that lets you know how many peeps are
in the competition, maybe a few more as there may well be a few poor souls like
me who wouldn’t know their Dubai Horizons from the Dubai Icons
I’ll need to do a bit of study this time before I stick in any of my 5 swaps.January 7, 2019 at 12:59 #1391673Yes, don’t waste those precious swaps Graham because they have to last right through to December and there are some top Group Races where high points for 1st and 2nd are awarded.

Also keep logging in because there are great chances to earn extra points through compeititions and by predicting the placings of horses in certain races which are highlighted in the Fantasy League Thread.
I picked quite a few decent points at the end of last season and ended up with a good score in the competition, and I only joined in the October. It won’t be long before your points start adding up Graham, I’ve only 80 at the moment thanks to Top Score coming 2nd but hope the next few weeks see some better results. Really frustrating with the lack of top horses like Blue Point, La Pelosa, Quorto but I guess everyone would want them and I think they like to throw in a few unknowns that are going to make a name for themselves this year….the problem is who are they.
Have fun finding out…Jac

Just seen your post regarding Dream Castle and yes kicking myself for not putting him in my team especially as he’s a Frankel
. Think he’s going to be worth following this year and a possible sway if he turns up again in the next couple of weeks, also he may come over to UK and continue his career this season, being a gelding now why not. Here’s an update of scores, as we know them, so far and don’t worry if no points as yet as they will come thick and fast as the season gets underway, expect some decent results.

Well done to The Blues Brother who tops the Leaderboard so far, League position in blue

Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...January 17, 2019 at 15:24 #1392736Think it must have been Vtc that moved the thread Jac, I wouldn’t know how to…
My Mod status was only for arranging the polls on TRF awards, forgot I still had it on the go, only really needed it for a few hours. At least it would have frightened Ginger, he’s only just come back once the status was removed lol
Had 1st place in the prediction correct today Jac but done Red Galileo for 2nd
thanks for the reminder, I would have missed it else, only just read the email they sent meGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
January 17, 2019 at 16:10 #1392740Finally some points on the board
In the bonus I predicted both correct, winner and 3rd place, so 400PTS
and I’ve halved my position from 1481 to 719. I’ve got First Nation
running in the 4.50, but he probably needs a bit further, I’d be happy
with a place. Thanks for the reminder Jac, otherwise I’d still be sitting
on nul points
January 17, 2019 at 16:35 #1392746
400 for me too Graham
Now on 480 points.. that was some bonus and well done Graham with tbe prediction and Nathan with the winner
Those bonus points are worth having.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...January 17, 2019 at 16:44 #1392747Great stuff Jac, very well done
I didn’t realise there were so many point up for grabs
with the bonus races, but I’m not complaining. At least it got me out the stalls and it just shows
how things can change quickly with me going from plumb last to half way up the league with just one
bonus race. C’mon First Nation….5 mins to the off
January 17, 2019 at 18:22 #1392754Wow First Nation
What a great win
Let us know where you are now on the main leaderboard Graham you must have 800 points at least.I almost swapped Poetic Charm into my League and then didnt
but I need a few swaps for later and I wasn’t sure where she will be aimed after this and it was quite low key.Really enjoying it and it’s making up for losing the ATR comp a bit and of course we should all be up to speed on the Godolphin team for their flat campaign.
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...January 17, 2019 at 19:06 #1392757Cheers Jac, he did that really well. I think he could go in again shortly on that performance, he
was drawing away from them at the finish. The points scoring seems a little strange. After my 40
points it had my position hugely improved to 719 I think, but before First Nation ran it had been
changed to 1100, or thereabouts. I’ve been given 120 points for FN’s win because it wasn’t a Group
1, 2 or 3 or a listed race, and that now has me with 520 points and sitting at 979. The huge movement
up and down the league seemed a bit strange, from last to halfway because of one bonus race did seem
surprising, but as I said, they did alter that shortly after to in the 1100s. At least I’m on the board
with a few points, so it is a start.Remember, if I’ve read it right, that when you make a change in your stable that you can change one
or as many as you want at the one time, it all counts as one change if done at the same time. You
probably were aware of that, I only just took the time to properly read the rules and conditions today.
Good luck with your stable and swaps when you make them
