I had a quick check through, I don’t think anyone has started a thred for this yet, so I will kick it off.
I can’t let this horse go unbacked as I’m so excited to see what he can do in his career. Galileo / Mecca’s Angel cross the first of Mecca’s Angel crop, won on debut yesterday at the same maiden that Armory (once thought the leading AOB 2-year-old last season) started off in.
Looking deeper at his breeding profile, he could actually be one for the Derby more than the Guineas, but I’ll back him for both when the derby book comes out.
Hudson River 25/1
June 29, 2020 at 09:46 #1492129Given the huge drift it was very impressive the way he won
And I had the same thought that he could be a guineas horse
June 29, 2020 at 10:22 #1492131Coral/ladbrokes have battleground @ 5/6
June 29, 2020 at 10:41 #1492132That’s bizarre Ista! He’s beaten two maidens priced 18s and 80s lol
Very early shout Frenchy lol

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!June 29, 2020 at 10:48 #1492133Some times the price on oddschecker is way wrong
so I went and checked on site and Battleground is really 5/6
That is crimewatch stuff…Blackbeard to conquer the World
June 29, 2020 at 10:54 #1492134I didn’t even see the drift actually, so that’s even more positive then…
yeah early shout Jack, why not! I don’t normally get involved with 2year olds until a bit later in the season, but I saw the breeding in April and it’s exciting to see what he can do. Will give me a 2-year-old to follow this season now….
Now watch him get hammered next time out
July 10, 2020 at 16:08 #1493485Unibet are 50’s on Hudson River for the Derby.
I found a couple of pound in my account so put it on him
Despite the dam being a speedball he looked like a step up in trip will improve him somewhat and he has the mighty Galileo on his side.
Has a decent chance in the Superlative Stakes tomorrow where he is joint fav with Seventh Kingdom and his price for the Derby could cut if winning thatBlackbeard to conquer the World

August 26, 2020 at 19:17 #1498864Thunder Moon 33/1
Won his maiden in Ireland in good style pulling away by about 4 lengths, lovely action out of Zoffany by a Sadlers Wells mare and trained by Joseph O’Brien for his mum.. He could make next years 2000 Guineas a family affair and at 33/1 worth throwing his hat in against Battleground who is far too short a price. Good luck Jac

September 13, 2020 at 16:36 #1501427Happy with my 33/1 Thunder Moon after that win.
Quoted around 6/1 now according to ITV so you did well getting 14’s Mike.
