A farce in the 330 at Cheltenham today, hurdles in the home straight omitted and they couldn’t even run on the hurdle course so went up the chase course instead.
So who knows what the distance ran was , race should have been voided as it wasn’t as advertised when having a punt on it not that I had one but if it says 2+ miles then that is what should be run

That’s my Saturday morning entertainment finished, I loved watching the lemmings all crowding round the cashier trying to get their £20’s on before the guarantee runs out.
Mandarin Princess wins the opener at 50/1 and then it seems it is a different horse.
I’ve seen several tipsters on Twitter claiming to have backed/tipped it too, could get a bit messy and I dare say all bets will be refunded now as well
Not “all bets refunded”, they just need to pay out on the second horse.
I was surprised at that, when they first announced it that was what was being said and now there are punters who have lost good money, what a shambles
If I innocently put a fiver on Mandarin Princess and went to a bookies shop to collect now I wonder if I would get paid or not ?
Interesting that Millys Kiss was declared a NR at 1409, I wonder what reason was given then ? But this wasn’t broken into the public domain for another hour or so
So if somebody knew what was happening put a few quid on the winner spread around to not cause alarm has now collected and had it right off
Johnson commentating at Chester for ITV today whilst Hoiles is commentating at Newton Abbot, thought Hoiles would have been at Chester
Agree completely, find ATR to be much more engaging on most fronts.
Only thing I do envy is the HD coverage

Which you still can’t get on Virgin
No A-Z for the entries, no fast card option to look at a meeting on one page, just a total mess. What is up with these websites ? Racing Post and now Sporting Life have been ruined , no doubt by some geek who has never been near a betting shop or a racetrack in his life
But they are lashing home , I like his commentaries but he does make more mistakes than most
The best and worst of NH racing in such a short space of time , poor Many Clouds RIP
Weird we always delay even a big race here for an egg and spoon race in Ireland but the stewards over there at one course can over rule the powers that be and ruin the viewing for anyone at home
Looks worse the more you look at it, surely for his own reputation there should be a full enquiry into any abnormal betting on the horse or even in the future if there is a punt on it
When is it going HD on Virgin ? One of the annoying things is that you pay top dollar for RUK yet only get SD, it’s the same with Box Nation and Sky PPV too
Another murky practice about to be swept under the carpet but the powers that be
It was brilliant that the weather relented and all went ahead as scheduled, I miss the days of 16 meetings on Easter Monday as racing is a spectator sport that should be run when the vast majority can attend not have 5.30pm meetings from Wolves on a Tuesday in February to suit the bookies
