I’m not sure, it’s a bit different isn’t it?
And of course I did like Lost in Space when I was a youngster.

I would like to know too, I have no idea who Jinny could be talking about.

I got as far as looking at the greyhound cards, and I thought they were bloody awful.
What’s with all this light grey text that is difficult to read? The next day the site was so slow that I gave up, and I haven’t been back since.
I no longer like what I see, and so it isn’t worth the effort anymore.
Satellite information services.
But it ain’t in any form book.

I heard it LM.
I was walking along Yeading lane when I heard a bloody great bang.
I thought a bomb had gone off.
I was wondering who signed the program, but I see that it was all the grand national jockey’s.
Smartened up? Do you think so?
The results used to appear on 1 page, but now they’re spread out over 3 pages as they try to cram everything in.
I think it looks scruffy.
You only have to look at the BBC’s horse racing coverage on teletext to see what they think of racing.
Absolute garbage is what it is now.
I’m sure it’s no problem for Cormack to set up a separate forum for intelligent people only, and maybe he could arrange a fools forum too? entry could be restricted to people who think Jade Goody is a contender for the "Brain of Britain" title.
Then of course he could have a "whites only" section, and maybe a slim people’s section too, after all, we wouldn’t want some fat bar steward giving us their opinions on horse racing would we?

Yes, or Sports live radio, available through Ladbrokes.
I too can’t stand William Hill radio, what a bloody row that is.
I thought the bloke was absolutely useless, and in my view the only thing that got him on the tv talking about horse racing was his black face.
There was a fair increase in the size of the pools some months ago, once William Hill, the last major bookmaker to take placepots outside of the pool, stopped doing so, and made sure that all placepot bets went into the pool.
I love the ten to follow, especially the jumps version, but I’ve lost count of the number of times the horse everyone thinks will win everything actually wins nothing. This year I think there’s a chance that Sublimity and Denman will dissapoint.
We’re making a syndicate entry on FF like we have done for the last 6 or 7 years, and so far we’ve got around £700 in the pot, but the problem is that you often find yourself up against massive syndicate entries. One of our members did manage a monthly prize last year though, so we live in hope.
I know one thing, if I had won the first prize last year, I’d be tempted to chuck in about £10,000’s worth of entries again this year, because if you’ve got the time to spend on compiling lists there must be a fair chance of picking up the prize again.I think I’m with Rory on this, I don’t think the big syndicate players do the scoop 6 any harm, because although they are likely to get a share of the odd big dividend, it’s my guess that it’s their money that has swelled the pool in the first place.
As for the placepot, I doubt if there’s many people in the country who have done more of them than me, that’s how much I get involved, and I’ve been doing them since day one, and often two or 3 at the same meeting.
I don’t think syndicates play the placepot, I just think that people have wised up, after all in the early days a 25/1 winner of a four horse race could see a placepot dividend of £2,000. That obviously wasn’t likely to go on forever, and now regular players have a lot more idea than they might have had in the early days.As for the original question, yes I’ve made a few similar blunders in my time. Only last month my mate told me he had a tip for a horse, he couldn’t remember the name but he told me it was number 10 in the 4th race. When I spoke to him in the evening he asked me if I had backed it, and I said "yes unfortunately" it turns out the bloody thinh hacked up, but I had backed number 11.
I’ve received my reply and it’s the same as the one TMWANG50 got, but I still feel it was worth registering my complaint.
Golden Cyget for me too, and Valiramix.
Thanks, I’ve posted the story on FF too, so hopefully a few of them will complain too.
