Back in march I did my ante post bets on the arc as always…

Gentildonna and gold ship have fallen by the wayside which really annoyed me as i rated goldship a certainty. Nevermind. And intello is surely a doubtful runner so I am left with a meagre £2.50 on novellist at 130/1 and kizuna £7 at 24/1

However after Saturday I couldn’t be happier with novellist and for those of you who haven’t seen kizuna in the Japanese derby have a look. He ran the final 3 furlongs the quickest after meeting trouble. He runs on arc trials day all being well lets hope yutaka take is on a going day.

For a while I have backed German and Japanese horses where ever I can and now I hope one of these can capture the arc this year!

Really hope magician gets a run I got £2 at 85s on betfair lol but my main bet is on Chopin as I have huge respect for German horses abroad. I took the 20s but really not sure on him if the ground is good/firm most German horses prefer softer.

On the day I may seem mad but a shock could happen BOM doesn’t impress me, if DA doesn’t stay and the French n German horse are no good it’s anyones race at a 100/1 I will have a punt on mirsaale by a derby winner and half sister to oaks 2nd meeznah and already a course winner who wants fast ground. Worth a go…

I had £90 win on orfevre at 25/1 backed in April I am absolutely gutted. Man oh man I feel awful wish he came 10th 2nd is too cruel.

I can’t even be happy I had a saver @ £1 ew on solemia and kesampour

    £64.50 is nowhere near 2 1/2 grand! Probably the 1st and last time I wasn’t cheering a 50/1 winner

As stated I got on orfevre at 25s the good thing with the non runners is if he doesn’t win I won’t be thinking maybe it was on off day because in all honesty there is no better chance than now.

It’s funny after snow fairy and danedream I joked to a mate maybe shareta will fall sick and Saonois €100,000 Entry fee won’t clear… A few hours later instead nathaniel is sick,I’m starting to believe it’s fate orfevre will win!

I no for you lot this probably isn’t a big bet but to me it is!

Had £90 win on orfevre months ago at 25/1 and I don’t care if they do say he was workmanlike fact is he run he won and should now turn up at arc day with a chance at about 3-4/1 I couldn’t be happier. Especially as I backed him before he finished like 10th in Japan and they said he might not come.

I just look to nakayama festa who I also backed and hope orfevre makes that same amount of improvement in the next 3 weeks and by all reports he’s in a different league to him so am really hopeful.

I am most worried by danedream had £20 win on her last year and will always respect german horses. And I still expect fabre to have an ace up his sleeve…is masterstoke entered?

Picked out divapour when still 91 entries in the supreme and he was in the Neptune did a small £2 win £2 place in both races as looking at the odds on betfair 70 and 20 for the Neptune I thought he’d go there

Anyway flat winner unbeaten over jumps. Bred by aga khan won on soft and good ground . Just have a feeling you know what I mean?

Anyway for the supreme I got £2 win at 640/1 and £2 place at 90/1 :D
Really hope he runs and just a heads up sky bet he is only 50/1 but they pay 1,2,3,4,5
