No win for me I’m sorry to say, with it being an Antepost bet.
I can’t really complain though, he couldn’t really have kept it, and it’ll his demotion was the correct decision.
I’ve picked a few out, but bigger bets will probably be as the week progresses.
I like Scholastic in the opener, took 10-1.
Master McShee and Whiskey Sour in the 1650, both of these at 22-1.
Allaho couldn’t have been more impressive at Cheltenham, and I’m happy even though 13-8 is skinny.
The 1755 is hard to be confident on, but I went with Huntingtown at 14-1.
Mouthwatering sums it up nicely Gladiateur.
The entries look significantly stronger this year, and there looks to be some very good racing in store.
I’ll hopefully get a few on, but it will be tough.
I’m already with Enrilo 22-1 ew 5 places, and I have added Supreme Escape at 16-1, win only
A small ew on Ornua for me, runner up at 33-1 would be ok for me
I’m down to Anibale Fly 28-1 or Shattered Love 50-1 as my final selection.
I feel daft for even contemplating 4, but it is The National
I’m loving the 15-2 for Notebook, I should get a run for my money at those odd.
Next Destination or Latest Exhibition for me. I’ll maybe throw a few pounds on this during the summer, but I won’t jump in straight away.
Aso too big here at 40-1. I’m confident that he can place.
The Shunter for me, 5-1. He just has to go very close.
I’ve taken a very simple approach here, Zanza 11-1, and Moon Over Germany 14-1. Both prices have a bit of a whiff about them, but both selections staring me in the face.
I don’t like the favourite at all
It’s a pleasant surprise for me to see Farclas head here.
I’m still looking for one more, as I’m not happy with my Ok Corral bet, but I’ll mull it over, over the next few days.
Farclas 33-1
Ok Corral 33-1
Minella Times 50-1It’s not an approach that I’m too keen on, but I cashed out a small part of my Sempo bet. Even as a backer I didn’t expect him to be this low.
I’ve used that cash to cover Court Maid at 20-1, who looks to have been kept for this.
Matt, The Tatlings post more or less sums it up. They will rarely elaborate why it was a great ride. It’s just a throw away line which they use far too often.

Also, if they are a particular favourite of the media, they will be lauded even more.
I agree Tatling, it’s not particularly exciting at all, and I backed it. If anything, there was a disappointing inevitably about who was going to win.
Jack, I don’t actually have any Free Bets, and if I did, I wouldn’t feel the need to say on here, it’s just a bit of saracasm.
I’m just bemused as to why the same people have to continually say it’s a free bet when they put up a selection.
First of all, I want to ask them the same question that you asked me. Just how many free bets do you actually have.
Two, you do realise that a free bet is not something you really want to admit to.
Three, you do realise that a losing free bet, is still a loser.
Admittedly the one person who keeps saying so the most, is the forum shyster, but other people should know better.
Admin, please delete if not appropriate.
For the Gold I took 12-1 Monkfish and also too 16-1 Envoi Allen, and Galopin Des Champs 33-1 ew for the old rsa
All free bets
