Echiquier at 10-1 is my call in this.

Crosspark 14-1. He’s higher in the weights this year, but he’s the right type for this, so I’ll take a chance.

I’ll also go with Mysteree at 22-1. I won’t bother myself with the place money here, both are on the nose.

Jerrysback for me, but I see Give Me A Copper as a big danger. I’ll do a rev f/c.

What a monkey that horse is Greenasgrass.

Well done Steeplechasing and Jack, that was easy.

If he gets declared, I will definitely be with Belami Des Pictons here. If that’s not the case then I would consider Give Me A Copper.

I am very keen on Walk In The Mill here, I think that he is a safe ew bet at a fair price with 5 places.

    Dawn Run?

One of the top 2 Mile chasers of the 21st Century?

I think she might have been forgotten by most people for that list. Sorry Befair.

    My standouts

    1) Sprinter Sacre
    2) Kauto Star
    3) Moscow Flyer

That’s the only three for me, but in the spirit of the thread, I could add

Azertyuiop, Well Chief, or Altior, but none of them top notchers for me personally.

DBR, it looks like you had a good day yesterday.

Ballyoptic was the only one I didn’t fancy for this. Well done.

Jack, that was an awful run. I can’t see myself persevering with him in the future.

VtC, I don’t know where you pulled The Gatechecker from, but that was a very good pick.

Jack, that is very much my line of thinking here.

I thought that he always threatened to land one of these for Richards, but it did not materialise.

For all that he was a disappointment at Listowel, that market support was telling, and I will go with 12/1.

I thought that I was on to a winner with Go Conquer, but he just blew up. I certainly wouldn’t have had any concerns about betting him fresh though before the race.

Back here in December, The Silver Cup must be very tempting for connections.

Well done to RR and Green with a very impressive winner. He strikes me as one who will just come up short in the top races, but that hardly matters here, and you must have been counting your winnings a fair way out. His best asset looks to be his jumping.

I didn’t consider Regal Encore for this, but he’s a very admirable type. 25/1 was a nice price, well done VtC and DBR

I like Ascot for Go Conquer.

He’s a very difficult horse to weigh up with regard to what his main target will be, so I have a feeling that they might just have him spot on for this, and then they’ll take it from there.

I don’t have a Marathon Bet account to take advantage of 28/1, but I will still happily grab 20.
