I’ve never got over being at Wetherby when Ballyoptic took a crashing fall [albeit over hurdles]so I always feel nervous about his jumping.

    Very tough.

Vieux Lion Rouge and Walk In The Mill pick themselves, but you can’t bet them all.

I’ll probably add VLR as a saver, but I’ll stick with As De Mee, and an EW stab at Regal Flow, trying to get 100’s on him.

As De Mee 16’s EW 5 Places
    Regal Flow EW 5 Places
    Vieux Lion Rouge win saver

I am very keen on Walk In The Mill here, I think that he is a safe ew bet at a fair price with 5 places.

Le breuil @25/1 for me, very unsure why the general opinion he wont stay is being thrown around, it was soft at cheltenham and he handled the 4m well… as de mee the other i like

I’m going the safe way with an EW bet on Vieux Lion Rouge at 10/1.

    As de Mee
    Le Breuil
    Minellacelebration

    All ew for me.
All hopefully fit for it after their prep runs and targeted at the spruce this year :good:

With the yard now really going well I like vintage clouds , Russell seems to think one for Arthur needs farther and Walk in the mill is carrying more weight this time around , this is my main betting race of the day with bets on def red and le breuil e.w , rec forecast the 3 , here’s hoping for some Xmas money

I’ve found this a difficult race to come to a firm conclusion, but if Definitely Red
takes to these fences I think he would have a decent chance. 9/1 seems
    reasonable.

WD Mike, Raymo, Lemons, Peter and Silver Spoon.
    Deserving winner.
My 3 all ran well but none of ’em quite got home.

He’s some horse. Love seeing how much it means to James Best. These aren’t just “prep” races for bigger targets later in the season. They’re big races in their own right and deserve to be treated as such.
