    No market formed yet……

    https://www.racingpost.com/racecards/28/kempton/2020-01-11/746666

Terrible race for me, so there’s only a small chance I’ll be having a bet before Final Decs, and a lot of that will be to do with Eragon De Chanay’s price.

Eragon De Chanay – Really had his moments last season, and though there’s been just as many off days, this has left him weighted to run well. Decent enough spin round here last time, but I’m hoping that’s put him spot on, as he certainly wasn’t knocked about once his chance had gone. I shouldn’t really have too many boxes to tick in this, given my record, but those I have, he ticks them. Each way hope.

Ilikedwayurthinkin – Big talking horse this season, and there was loads to like about his run last time at Leapordstown. I’d be a little surprised if he came here, but big player if he does.

Colonial Dreams – Very impressed with him at Sandown, and I’d forgive him his comeback in soft enough ground at Newbury. Top yard, and this looks the right race for him.

Gortroe Joe – Very decent run here in that race which Eragon De Chanay took in, and certainly advertised his credentials more than the Moore horse, and this was always going to be next target for him.

Vive Le Roi – Really likeable type who often goes off at a price, and rarely runs a bad one. I’d give him a decent each way chance.

Pic D’Ohry – Always held in high regard by Nicholls, and having hit the deck at Auteuil last time, Nicholls will surely have him ready for a race he likes. Has to step up on overall achievements, but suspicion that he will.

Soul Emotion – Looks a big player for Henderson. Disappointed with his seasonal debut, but miles better last time, and his chance looks obvious.

I’ll no doubt bet Eragon De Chanay once Max Places are available, but the rest all appeal as well, with Soul Emotion Looking a particularly big threat, so I’ll hold off for now.

Ooft, Eragon is 66’s, and that 33’s is huge for Gortroe too.

    Pic dorhy for me

Has the potential to have quite a bit in hand off 146

He travelled like a top class horse in the triumph before his lack of race fitness caught up with him and that he was thrown into a grade 1 on reappearance must suggest they think plenty of him

7/1 on him will do me

    Not declared

Must be plenty of burnt fingers on that one as the 7s I took was long long gone

I doubt I’ll get 66’s for Eragon De Chanay, but I’ll stick with him. Hopefully the 33’s will still be there tomorrow, in the off chance that anyone goes five places.

Not many of the original shortlist made it, so as the price more or less held for Gortroe Joe, I’ve added him win only.

I’ll no be going mad, considering my record, and was nearly adding Vive Le Roi as well.

    Eragon De Chanay EW
    Gortroe Joe 28’s

This doesn’t look like being the easiest to solve. I’ll go with Burrows Park at 11-1, and for the win only.

I fancied Burrows Park for a while now Lemons, and eventually took
the plunge at 16/1 on Wednesday before final decs came out (in Pat’s ante post thread).
You can still get him at 14s if you want a 2nd go. He battled on well last time out at
Hereford, and although he’s been raised 5lb he has the same 7lb claimer on him and she
got a good enough tune out of him last time. If there’s a slight worry it’s that she is
inexperienced in races of this calibre. I could put up the case that she has a 50% strike
rate over hurdles this year, and I will, but then again she has only had 4 runs in them.
He has won on good, but I hope it doesn’t get any better than g/s as he handles it with
plenty of ease in the ground. It would be a big day for her if she won, I hope it is for
    us too Lemons :good:

Burrows Edge for me at 6-1, I would have expected him to be shorter.

I’ll also bet Canyon City ew at around 40-1.

Echiquier at 10-1 is my call in this.

WD Jeff, he looks like there’s more where that came from.
