Well said PC, hopefully Sir Henry doesn’t read internet racing forums, neither this one or others would give him any cheer or encouragement.
Back to topic, is it not possible they could supplement him for the Arc and also run at Ascot, he has run within a fortnight before and if he is still improving and is strengthening as he matures is it possible or are there quarantine problems or something else that means a horse couldn’t do France then England in two weeks?
Racing is still sport and in any sport you can never say never until it can’t be done and sometimes, even after the fat lady has sung her song, there are comebacks.
Nobody yet knows if Frankel is fertile yet, he wouldn’t be the first top quality racehorse to be discovered to be firing blanks – good looks, wealth and invincibility doesn’t always mean one is a hit in the bedroom stakes.
Nobody would like to see that, or see him follow others into an average or poor stud career but the Prince doesn’t need the money does he?
They could even make some Big Bucks.
Good looking weekend coming up with Fulham hopefully upsetting the Man Utd cheese and wine party and Newcastle due to end RDM’s lucky run.
The Swansea-West Ham game could resemble a cup tie but like the Sunderland, Norwich and Southampton fixtures will have more bearing on the relegation battle.
Everton should put Villa away and confirm themselves as top six contenders and City at 6/4 away to Liverpool suggests the odds compilers have found a particularly dodgy batch of LSD.
West Brom will be looking to put another nail in AVBs new coffin after closing the lid on his last one and it’s about time the mighty Arsenal stopped feeling sorry for Stoke and gave them a proper pounding, though the ref being a bit of a lightweight with the cards and a northener to boot will make it difficult again especially if he turns a blind eye to Shawcross who will be given the same instructions from Pulis as in "break a leg".
The Arsenal, Everton, Man City, Newcastle and West Brom away five timer pays 646/1

Another of Australia’s superstars was Walter Lindrum the Billiards player, so untouchable was he when he won the world title in 1934 nobody bothered to challenge him for it and he relinquished it undefeated in 1951.
During that time he broke and set all records in exhibitions all over the world and when he died Bradman wrote to his niece to say "In my opinion he was not only the greatest billiards player who ever lived, but he was also the most modest of great champions."
If only Frankel was allowed another year or two…
About 4, 5 or 6 more than Liverpool will have after five games then.
Coggy I am a bloke…thanks for post
Sberry . you are a twit in all senses , and no more notice of you will be taken , you have shown yourself to be someone who lacks any understanding of the game , so carry on flaming , and remember there are millions of twits like you around to have fun with , this poster thinks you are beneath contempt
IMO

I could, but I won’t as you’ll be ignoring it of course and will leave the insults to the experts of the game like you ricky, bloke

I’ll look forward to watching on the box, fitting he gets to bow out on ATR as opposed to the minor racing channels.
Spot on and I think I have the SkySports FF league wrapped up with this philosophy

And you Ricky have no sense of imagination or fun or any clue about the Winter Derby.
There’s as much point wondering what Frankel would do in that race as there is in wondering what he’d do in any other race that he won’t be having.
The best horse can handle any surface, Frankel hasn’t proved himself at Lingfield yet

I’d suggest a gentle wind up? Typical gooner!

Couldn’t see any horse beating Parasol in the Winter Derby that year, how he didn’t get HOTY is beyond me, no way Frankel could give weight to him at Lingfield then.
Not really, Fergie likes Dutch strikers and he’ll get more games there than he would at City and they have better sick leave benefits, apparently.
Other than Chelsea’s run of luck continuing (Hazard aside) it was a standard shaky start to a season.
The SkySports adverts with Harry and their free fantasy football competition tempted me to put in a team for nothing, if a few more here do we could have a TRF FF league

And you Ricky have no sense of imagination or fun or any clue about the Winter Derby.

I wonder if they’ve considered giving him one last outing in March in the Winter Derby, it would give him a ‘Derby’ on his record and a win on the AW wouldn’t hurt his stud prospects.
Also, even with the Grp 1 penalty he could maybe even be the only horse here to go under 2 minutes for the mile and quarter.
I’m sure he could handle the track at Lingfield and it would make Sir Henry and Tom the joint top scorers in the Winter Derby.
One can dream…
August 23, 2012 at 06:27 in reply to: Biggest rip-off in the history of Group I Racing or not? #410617As it was on the exchange where the likely placers were standard prices too but for the win price for Frankel the ESP was over 50% higher than ISP and for the rest of the field the win ESP was hundreds of percent higher than ISPs and the book was 102% – you could even get 200 to place on the exchange for a 100/1 win ISP.
Most people at the races don’t know and don’t care because surely if they did they would use the exchange, it only needs a phone but that’s not the fun when you’re at the races is it?
Then again, if you check the results every day you’re looking at a 20%+ difference on every race, class 6 seller to the big races, no more of a rip for the Juddmonte than it is every day.
Outstanding performance, he won in the style usually displayed by Black Caviar and for a minute I thought he’d stay on the bridle all the way.
His detractors may say he beat the usual suspects in his back yard again and the second horse again has won nothing more than a handicap but the form figures don’t lie.
Lord Grimthorpe said the Arc meeting was on the cards anyway and now they may even consider the Arc so Ascot may not be his last race and if he can do the same abroad, even though France is hardly the other side of the world, that should put the full stop on his career.
I wonder if Ballydoyle will send any to the Ascot race?
