Id say JANIKA aswell those battles with SIRUH DU LAC looks good strong form to me. Regarding LALOR, You just never know whats going to show up, He’s either gonna be S**t..or well s**t.
I’m also of the opinion that ENVOI ALLEN Is going here. After that run the other day, Elliot suggested that he will stay at 2 miles for now but then again his mind changes like the wind
I agree with CLOUDY MORNING everything about him suggests he wants a trip
I was chewing about that run, So disappointing
Fair play to you DBR, Soon as i got up for work yesterday morning and the rain was coming i knew my bet of LBAR was done!
Yes mate good shout, Like you said it didn’t really take alot of winning but the manner of it was very good. Elliots comments suggests he wants the trip aswell so one to take note of!
CLAN DES OBEAUX I’ve got to say the form for me doesn’t look THAT strong. Winning the king george on paper is a great win but it wasn’t the strongest race in hindsight, Not alot of those horses went on to do much last season. The Denman chase didnt take alot of winning either. Im quite confident in DELTA WORK for this given the manner of his win at Punchestown beating a (recently) good one in A PLUS TARD
Ive had LA BAGUE AU ROI how could you not?! every nag shes beat is top drawer. I dont know what happened on her most recent outing but maybe Kalashnikov just had a wonder run and LBAR ran badly. A bit harsh on kalashnikov but i dont see that as a top top horse
yeah mate, I read that he thinks alot of her. Im looking forward to seeing FLORESSA again though!
2 horses stand out for me in this ASO 12/1 had a good season that ryanair form is pretty solid, (although he did beat big names who wernt having the greatest seasons)
SURUH DU LAC 10/1 this horse won me plenty of money this year so i could be a little bias! But course and distance form is solid as anything and it seems to be the horse that keeps on giving.
Ill have the favourite in this. Ill be getting on this weekend. I cant see anything in this race beating FUSIL RAFFLES at 2miles other then a proper good one (which im not seeing). Of the 2 runs ive seen im a big fan of the way he finishes his races very powerfully
Id take the EW bet on JETT 14/1. He looked good in that 3 mile chase at Punchestown and finished really well. Better class here of course, But like someone said, fitness could be key? and it was the key in that last race for him. I thought at the time jett looked a different animal at 3
Supreme – MALONE ROAD
National hunt – CHAMPAGNE CLASSIC
Stayers – PAISLEY PARK
RSA – BATTLEOVERDOYENI quite like BREWIN’UPASTORM. His run the other day especially the way he finished was a good start and also hearing the trainers comments that he probably wasnt ready to race so soon. 20/1 looks nice to me with bet365
I liked the way CHAMPAGNE CLASSIC eased over the line suggesting alot more in the tank, Aswell as the race being ran on soft to heavy. That 16/1 is looking great value.
We shouldn’t sleep on BUVEUR D’AIR, He fell at the festival ok not ideal, He lost to SUPASUNDAE at Aintree most probably because the distance of 2m 4f suiting SUPASUNDAE better. He lost to VERDANA BLUE when VD got perfect ground and conditions coming off the back of a decent run of form (also only nicking it by a fag butt). I think KLASSICAL DREAM is the nuts and it won me plenty this year, but BD is proper class and ill be getting on for another year!
Yeah, DISCORAMA (if he beats it) will be a good measuring stick to see where he’s at. If he’s at where we hope he’s at then ill be getting on a nice ante post ew double with BATTLEOVERDOYEN and just praying they get to the festival!
