LS, my first thoughts after that race was Galway Hurdle.
August 13, 2019 at 11:30 #1450980Espoir D’Allen injured and likely to miss the season.
August 13, 2019 at 12:15 #1450983Big blow for the yard and the race in general.
Klassical dream halved in price now to around 3/1 favAugust 13, 2019 at 15:32 #1450995Reared up and came over by the sounds of it poor sod. Dangerous yokes, horses. Hope the rider was OK.
August 15, 2019 at 03:17 #1451043Am on Klassical Dream quite heavy already. Had some 9/1 on him to win any race and the grade 1 he won at Punchestown. With Espoir D’Allen out of the race now, I think any expected improvement from Klassical Dream would make him the one to beat.
Every time I watch that Supreme he looks better and better and better. Travelled like an absolute superstar. To back that run up at Punchestown after was similarly very good.
Klassical Dream to win the 2020 Champion Hurdle
October 10, 2019 at 08:46 #1465504Ruby gave a strong mention to both Klassical Dream and Saldier yesterday, said Saldier was the value and I completely agree. Missed the Klassical Dream price but have backed Saldier. Looked like he had the beating of Espoir D’Allen (RIP) at Naas and we all now know how strong that form line looks.
October 27, 2019 at 22:04 #1473022We shouldn’t sleep on BUVEUR D’AIR, He fell at the festival ok not ideal, He lost to SUPASUNDAE at Aintree most probably because the distance of 2m 4f suiting SUPASUNDAE better. He lost to VERDANA BLUE when VD got perfect ground and conditions coming off the back of a decent run of form (also only nicking it by a fag butt). I think KLASSICAL DREAM is the nuts and it won me plenty this year, but BD is proper class and ill be getting on for another year!
November 1, 2019 at 09:48 #1473433Can stand it no longer, tis the time of year for some wildly optimistic long priced Cheltenham bets:
Coeur Sublime may have had some excuses for his form in the latter half of the season. I still like him and think he has scope to progress.
Coeur Sublime 50s ew
November 1, 2019 at 17:47 #1473491Nice one Greenasgrass. He was most impressive today. Jumping was very good but will improve too, race by race, imo.
Between 20/1 and 25/1 now although Hills go 20/1 any race at the festival
November 1, 2019 at 20:38 #1473526Fusil Raffles 50-1 (Mike007) v Coeur Sublime 50-1 (Greenasgrass).
Who will come out on top.
November 9, 2019 at 20:04 #1474458Not completely blown away by Fusil Raffles today, but at least he won.
I wouldn’t have him ahead of Klassical Dream on that showing, but hopefully more to come.
November 9, 2019 at 20:21 #1474462Henderson said straight away that he was a long way from ready and that he wished he could have given him another 3 weeks , I’ll also say I thought he hurdeled really well , should be a good champion this year …good remember the classics with hardy Eustace and the likes ….we deserve one of these
November 9, 2019 at 21:58 #1474470Would be surprised if hes anywhere near upto this after today, undercooked champion hurdlers should be winning that on the bridle
November 11, 2019 at 00:10 #1474564Wish I could argue with that Ham, but I can’t.
I’m still hopeful, and having a look at this trio…..
Felix Desjy – Found wanting in The Supreme, but as I said last year, I strongly suspect that a few of Elliott’s weren’t right. He did a lot more in subsequent runs, though held by Klassical Dream. Had a minor setback which might delay him going over fences, so an outside chance he might come here.
Honeysuckle – Almost certainly one for a The Mares, but she’s very very promising, and is a big price for that allowance. 50’s
Sharjah – Nothing much to add, except that 33’s looks a mad mad price. I’m on the verge with him. If he gets declared for The Morgiana, I might crack. 33’s
I’m not looking at Labaik right now, but I would love to see him back.
November 11, 2019 at 03:38 #1474569I thought was a decent performance first time out by Fusil raffels.Missed a few hurdles but in general quite slick, and found for pressure when asked. I think eh has plenty of scope for improvement. But it all depends on if Klassical Dream is as good as he looked last year
November 11, 2019 at 10:27 #1474581Doubt he’ll run Sharjah in the Morgiana. He realy likes good ground.
November 12, 2019 at 12:03 #1474647Fair point Vautour.
