Everything bar Gstaad is 14/1 or more ante post on Betfair. If a strong challenger was about to be confirmed, I’d have expected the stablelads to be on it by now, but there’s no sign of it. So it looks like it’ll be Gstaad versus a few rags on Saturday. It’s still a prestigious race with plenty of prize money so it’s a puzzle why there’s so little interest.

A horse who has been on my radar since Goodwood last year, Morris Dancer is entered here (also in the St James Palace at Ascot so they must rate him.)
Unfortunately his stablemate, Publish, has been supported so I suspect he wont run here, otherwise I’d pile in at 40-1 ew
Edit: looking closer Publish is only quoted on Betfair exchange so maybe I’ll have a little tickle!)

Take Charge Star 100-1 e/w (BOG)

Tongue tie applied for the first time and very unlucky in running last time. In what looks a weak field, he’s a cracking price to sneak into the first three.
