I have some pretty good speed figures that says Intersky Falcon is well ahead, we all know Santenay ran a good second that day, but I have Santenay running faster the race before, I will go
Santenay to win and Intersky to follow him home.
I like Fallon allways trying
hi tooting,
this is a sickner when this happens, its happened to me a few times on the flat and its sods law if you miss it its sure to win a good tip would be to subscribe to an email reminder service there are a few about nowerdays. good luck mate!
hi all,
I will add my bit on this subject, I visit the northern tracks regular,Redcar for instance is a small friendly track, its easy to spot the faces, and when I travel to the other local tracks they are there, you get to know these faces when you see them rush in with a wad when the price is right, often £500 bets or more, I carnt say if these guys are pro’s but there are about 7 or8 of the same faces that I recognise, I have learned to look out for them and sometimes follow their bet on a smaller scale.
Hi all , just a couple of points I would like to make first to jw and to people that go racing you asked what to look for in the paddock well jw its so simple most of the time, its a must for racegoers to visit the paddock, I am no expert but believe me most of the time its so obvious, I have seen odds on shots in the ring that look so weak they should be 33/1 outsideres, I have seen a redhot fav run at Redcar with more bandages on than a mummy, kicing and bucking in the ring, imo the easiest to start with is the 2yo if you have say 8 in the ring they are very easy to compare to each otherI look for maturity first, and are they playing up ? some get very much on edge and some dont, look for a nice shine on the coat its easy to spot, watch when the jockey mounts the horse in the ring, some 2yo’s are just big babys and you can see they panic in the ring they dont know what the hell they are doing there, and they are useing up loads of energy panicking, they sweat buckets, like I say jw I am no expert but most of what I look for is common sense, when you get the older more experienced horses in its much harder to spot a good thing, more form comes into play, muscle ect.
I have an excellent record backing horses on course, after seeing them, compared to studying the form book at home where like most us I usually lose money.
Larry Layer if your there mate can you tell me when you are on the exchangers do you find it easier to make money on football and if you do, do you have a stop loss on inplay games if you are loseing, I must agree with you you learn to read them after a while, I am a small player on backing and laying usually a stright hundred pounds per game but if things are not going to plan I find it hard to bring my stop loss into play and can easy lose the lot through not being disiplined, Do you believe the bots are still sucking the value out I think they have gone recently as I can back and lay befor matches to make a profit but obviosly have to risk a lot more than a ton, what are your views?
Cheers Luke, loved the reply to An Capall’s question, and Oldrope I know the feeling.

GET IN THERE, it makes it all worth while, well done Amelia
hi guys,
all the best today with Amelia,I have always thought that this is the distance for Amelia, but imo you could not have picked a harder race, if the ground is good or better today I am going max on Ffynnon Gold, I think after following the fillie for a while she is around 8lbs better than her mark, after spending a lot of time studying this race, there is one outsider that should be backed to cover your main bet imo., and that is Moonlight Song,@ 25/1. connections have booked the ultimate featherweight job jockey for this race in G.Bradwell 3wins from 3runs this season for John Harris, although the fillie has not got the form to win this race ,she has had a good lay off and with this booking makes me wonder why.
hope you get a good run today.
what did I see? i saw Falcon Hill win the Cammidge trophy last week at Donny 6f, and looked very usefull, then I see him entered in the Easter Stakes over 8f and being backed, then I read that MJ says his trip WILL be 6 or7f in Ahead on the Flat, and will be aimed at the Cammidge 6f, which he won, and The Free Handicap at the Craven meeting over 7f, Then he will follow the foriegn route.
All Falcon Hill’s form suggests he will be a stiff 6f or possibly7f. horse. What I cannot understand is why MJ has spoiled this horses 3 yo record when he knew the colt would not stay, the horse went out like a light just after the 6f mark, after travelling really well and finished last of 9. any ideas why MJ would do this?
Hi Esc, just like to update Sentinel’s last run comments from Superform.

Hi Guskennedy, thanks for all the input, its really interesting, how I would love to be able to calculate time ratings myself, my hobby is reading form, I can spend 20hours or more a week just looking at form, time and pace, and digging deep, allthough I only show a small profit on my punting, I enjoy the time I put in reading, but Iam afraid to make my own time figures would be way way above me, I will be looking forward to your next post.
cheers Paul
Looks like G Butler is after an easy mark for this one.

Flat for me without a doubt, I enjoy studying the form on the flat much more than the jumps, and I think we have more of a chance this year, to money on the flat by laying unworthy fav’s on the pp betting sites.
hi Kathy, you talk of an incentive for the connections to run isty I believe the biggest incentive in the history of horse racing was on offer, although isty was clearly not 100% he had to be given the chance to become the greatest of all time with HATTONS GRACE,SIR KEN, PERSIAN WAR and SEE YOU THEN not being able to do the impossible I belive connections thought isty had to be giving the chance, and if he had pulled it off it would of put the record straight, as it stands, NIGHT NURSE is thought to be the best ever hurdler, with ISTABRAQ joint 2nd with MONKSFIELD.
hi larry, nice to see your still going, you were due a bad day,but keep the system going.
I used to get In The Know racing mag, last flat season and they gave I think it was £50 for the months best system’s why not Email them with your system its worth a try!
Larry, it looks as though you have a winner with this system, do us all a favour and keep it going as long as you can, a 17.5% profit after 1 week is excellent, I really can not see a 17.5% profit every week, but it would be very interesting to see this thread after another month or so.
good luck Paul
It would be interesting to know how Timeform had him rated in the race, Superform had him 12lbs in at the weights although not giving him the AW mark. can anyone expand?
Glen, forget about his last race, he won it, I am sure connections would rather win a race like that by a couple of lenths rather than a street would you not agree? and read ALL his other form.
