I am sorry byt Ruby is different class to Sam, who as contrived to get Southfield Theatre and Solar Impulse beat and managed to get thorme off Saphir Du Rheau.
Me thinks he may struggle to last the season.but we will see.

Jibsa wrote "True yes true and he does have a high percentage of horses at his own admission that dont like winter ground."

Bizarre that a top NH trainer with the big races run in winter that he states he has a high percentage of horses that don’t like winter ground.

Have to say Faugheen disposed of his field far easier than The New One.

Can’t recall the year but I was there when a horse called A Sure Row trained by the Dickinsons anhillated a Gordon Richard horse called The Langhom Dyer in a novice chase at Bangor.
I have never seen a novice jump as well either before or since.
Sadly a career cut short by injury but in my eyes would have gone right to the top

Nice to see STD admit he made mistakes last Sunday at Cheltenham.
    Fair play to him.
Let’s hope he doesn’t make any today on The New One

Very sad for connections but one of those things. I think the blame lays with the trainer or whoever does his entries to notice thinks like what happened and also Weatherby’s who should not be able to fall back on the computer glitch problem.
The question to be asked would this have been picked up on if the horse had finished down the field?

Ginge, sleep driving is an offence but not in it’s own right. The person sleep driving if they crashed would be driving without due care and attention dependant on the severity of the accident.
If they killed someone it would be death by either careless or dangerous driving again dependant on all the circumstances.
I beleive Queally pleaded guilty to the drink driving offence as he would have no choice.
What is lawyer did was argue special reasons not to disqualify him from driving. He would however still have had the conviction for drink driving.
His lawyer rightly failed. My earlier point was and still is, if he has that medical condition, sleep walking/driving I am surpried the Authorities do not look at stop him getting his licence back when he re applies for his licence as he would seem to be a liability on the road.
On an aside from that he was in British Airways club lounge at Gatwick Airport with Jamie Spencer, Frankie Dettori and others who I did not recognise. They all went to board the flight to Barbados.
    Not a bad life.

Agreed ginge however the point I make is that when you get the gig for one of the top 3 stables you should not fall on a short price fav

Ginge no one is doubting his raw ability I think people appreciate that he is good however he should not be losing or falling like he did today in races that he should be winning that’s the difference. As I said I don’t think ruby would have come off today.

And me too Nathan . These are the races he should be winning not falling on. Me thinks if he continues he may well go the way of Jacob and others.
I may be wrong but I don’t think ruby would have hit the deck on him
