You may use language like that every day but still out or order to direct that at an individual on here.
I didn’t say he was serial rapist wallace, but if he was he would still be immune to criticism in Jeremy Grayson and a few others here on the forums eyes.I t was put in my not so subtle way of getting a point across. Even the forum Gods are not always right.
By the way I didn’t use any foul language, wallace.
Maybe we already have one, Sublimity looked pure class in this years Champion, I won’t be opposing him come March.
He’s the first horse I would discard, another Rooster Booster flash in the pan……….got beat more times than my carpet.pre ch………fluke he won.
Katchit got beat once and wasn’t right……..Harchibald has just stormed back to form.
Jolly definately not for me
I have a feeling fist, you could look rather red faced come Champion Hurdle.
Sublimty’s fourth in the Supreme novice gave a strong hint of more to come. It was far from the worst field of hurdlers he beat in the Champion and he won it with ease. Afsoun could be a bit of ew value if the King doesn’t turn up.Maybe we already have one, Sublimity looked pure class in this years Champion, I won’t be opposing him come March.
I find the MM "serial rapist" quote disgusting. No place for this kind of stuff on here.
Jesus, some people are so sensitive, it was just a figure of speech, get with the real world.
Think the bookies are running scared of denman as just seen the 1/3 price, with the travelling involved is this even worth risking.
If he even turns up at all, if he does it will be a watching brief, plenty of other betting opportunities over christmas, maybe Harchibald if he goes for another christmas hurdle victory, flat track like Kempton is ideal for him.
Don’t want to go into too many details, but I’ve had an internet ‘friend’ for four and a half years now. Neither of us is in a position to do anything about it, what with families etc and him being 1000s of miles away, so we’re just happy with chatting over the interweb. We’ve always been honest with each other though, none of this pretending to be 22 crap! We know each other warts an’ all.
And neither of us was looking for it to happen, it just did.I’ll take it he is a non smoker then !
Haha no he smokes! Although I have to admit that he did try to hide that fact from me for a while, knowing how much I hate smoking. He airbrushed a cigarette out of a photo he sent me
He did own up in the end. That’s where internet relationship’s work….I can’t smell the smoke, and he can’t see me in the morning with my hair on end and no make-up on.I have no chance then Borrough Hill, with my twenty a day habit, add another 10 to that when I am out drinking which is fairly often, and thats with the smoking ban in place.
"Any single girls on here, who enjoy a puff"
not the homosexual puff, just in case some smart ass, wants to comment on it.
Targets for ’08 – remaining NH Rules courses, lots more ptp venues, and some trips further afield to Ireland, the Channel Islands and Germany. Let’s see how many of those I manage….

With the strength of Sterling against the euro, there should be no excuse for anybody not to go to the Curragh for the Derby festival, Leopradstown at christmas, Galway and Punchestown festivals, I would recommend you pack a spare liver for the latter two. Where the Curragh is concerned I would wait till the refurbishment and the new Grandstand is complete, probably sometime in 2009.
You seem to have undergone a bit of an epiphany from a chap who was dismissing Denman’s win in a "bad handicap chase" a few days ago.
Betting any horse at 2/1 for a Gold Cup 3 months away is seldom value as to collect, your selection must get through 1 or 2 outings in one piece and hold their form, them arrive sound on the day and run their race. There are better 2/1 shots every day of the week.
I’ll forecast that Kuato, at least will be bigger at some point between now and the off. Even if both make it, they won’t be much shorter on the day.Not to mention a clear round is no certainty when your talking about tricky Cheltenham fences, even if Denman jumped superbly the other day, no gaurantee he will always be foot perfect, and that comment applies even more to Kauto Star. I don’t think a faster surface will suit Denman, as he seems to lack a turn of foot, looks more a relentless galloping type. Nicannor left him for dead at the festival two seasons ago. Having said that anybody any news on Nicannor’s wellbeing ?.
Another useful contribution.

Some people on this forums it seems are totally immune to even the slightest hint of criticism, and Grayson is jumping to defend his old pals at every opportunity, they can defend themselves Jeremy.
Of course for some of the great unwashed its open season.Thank you Margaret. I have edited the mistakes as pointed out by apracing, I hope that keeps everybody happy. I’m not involved with racing in any form other than betting, and have not contacted C’ham. My walking the course was somewhat ‘unofficial’. I respect that some more involved with racing have taken mild umbrage with my contribution, but opinions are what its all about.
Zip, if Graysonscolumn found out that Apracing was a serial rapist of young boys he would still find no wrong in him. Actually I too thought his reply was a bit pompous. Anyway welcome to the forum zip.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe Mc Manus has considerable shares in Coolmore stallions, I would say he is making a tasty profit from that, even if his NH expenditure is making a loss.
Anyway, MY gripe is smoking, end of story
And now we’ve got the ban, I’m subjected to even more smoke because people stand outside to do it and I have to walk through a waft of stinky smoke to get anywhere. My biggest gripe Political Correctness, Borroughill eat your heart out.
The vibes coming from Alan King are certainly not over confident. Katchit surprised him last year with the rate of improvement he made during the season. I have a funny feeling a few ante post vouchers for the champion will be torn up tommorow.
FOF,
I have owned several horses and always made a conscious effort to ride each one. I am fully aware of the differences in temperament and the different handling that individuals need when facing the racecourse. I wouldn’t want next years Derby winner touched with a whip on a wet and windy October day at Nottingham if I owned or trained the prospect.
I don’t want to press the point too much, but here we have two experienced trainers with horses who are seven years old. Not racecourse debutant hurdlers or immature 2yr olds.
One ran seven times between November and April the other ran seven times between October and March. One finished either first or second on each occasion the other won at each occasion. Both horses have proved themselves to be "extremely consistent" (depending on the measure used) and able to hold their form at peak for an extended duration(the sign of a top class horse), at least six or seven months, from the start to the end of the season with all big races between taken in.
WHY, when considering the current court case and climate of horses not trying or in extreme cases being prevented from winning, is it Ok to state that the horse WILL COME ON FOR THE RUN.
Just seems a stupid own goal to me, and people concerned should be told as much.
Wholeheartedly agree with you Barney.
Your right when a trainer comes out and says that the horse will come on for the run before the race, whip the saddle off it, and if he comes out with the same bull-**** after the race, ban the horse for 40 days.
Aces Four is another case in point.
Also a certain See More Business was tailed off in the King George only to come out and win the Gold Cup. Trained by Paul Nicholls.God what an awful choice. Give me Tony Ennis everytime. Voted for Nick Luck as my choice was restricted, but he is very knowlegeable.
Manduro just ahead of Kauto Star, mainly because I much prefer flat racing, and he is one of the few horse I made a profit on.
