At 20-1 I like previous winner Willows Saviour. I have put a few pounds on at that price as I think that if he runs he could come down in price quite dramatically

I got on board with Minella Daddy at the higher odds but only a small amount. If he is declared for Daturday, he will be my main bet of the weekend but unfortunately at much lower odds

This is not going too well and I decided to give myself a break. That turned out to be a good idea as my main bet also failed to win at the weekend.

It is definitely harder to pick them out when you are putting them up on here. It is definitely added pressure.

My main bet this weekend I think will be Minella Daddy at Ascot, but with the luck I have had on this so far, I will wait until he is actually declared

I should have waited till the day for the 5 places Blaklion, oh well.

Grand Sefton today, Valadom each way at 8-1, skybet 6 places

Minus £90 now, and cannot believe Conti did not place.

£30 win on Blaklion at 12-1 with a couple of firms, for The Hennessy Gold Cup. I have already bet him at 16-1, as in big race thread, but12-1 is best today.

12-1 Silviniaco for me too. I just cannot see him out of the places in this.

Thanks Vtc but sadly couldn’t start with a winner. Zubayr looks a nice horse, but he was definitely beaten when he fell.

Taking me to minus sixty pounds is £15ew on Silviniaco Conti for next weekends Betfair Chase.

Yes, she did look slow, woeful in fact but unless there is a problem the question Elliott should be asking is why she has gone from looking exceptional to very ordinary in one run for his yard. She didn’t look slow when she quickened clear in the Triumph and she didn’t look slow in her subsequent runs.

I think coming up with an answer to that question first rather than what just looks like a knee-jerk reaction would have been a more appropriate response.

It might have been different had she been beaten by an established two miler but she has just lost to a horse who she was superior to last season.

If she were mine I would get Cooper back on board, wait for a little softer ground and give her another shot over two miles. When the dust settles hopefully that is what will happen.

I would agree with your thoughts Stilvi, she is worth another chance, she is a lot better than she showed today.

I am tempted to take 8-1 about Silviniaco Conti for this. He sometimes needs his first run, and even without winning tomorrow, a decent run in defeat might just see that 8-1 go.

Southfield Theatre for me too Joliff, but I have completely missed the price. I almost took the 7-1 on Monday, but it is long gone now.

I need a backup now for Blaklion who was disappointing last Saturday, and there is also the chance that he could head to Haydock as well.

I like to look for a progressive type in this and I think that the 25’s for Vicente is really appealing. I hope that this is the target as I have had a few pounds on.
