Is it at all feasible to think if Captain Conan wins well in Ireland he could go for the Supreme, and if Simonsig just wins or gets beat, then he could reroute to the Neptune as what sounds like the original plan?
One other thing, what happened today was clearly much more interference than Swan Peral on Grumeti, yet they reversed those placings…..leaves me confused as to what is so different…
Thanks guys, punishment for the jockey fair enough, and interefernce admitted into taking place. Still can’t believe they think the placings would have remained the same if Resplendant Alpha had a clear run through as it was closing rapidly, and was clearly going to go past the winner. As it was stopped in it’s tracks and the winner still in full throttle, is it any wonder it doesn’t close the gap at the line?
Your points are accurate other than Resplendant Alpha clearly would have won the race if it wasn’t cut off by the winner. Cheers anyway.
Better luck next time heh!Oscar Whisky 99.9% certain to line up in the World Hurdle according to Nicky Henderson. Does that now mean it’s pretty much a non runner…..
Hurdygurdyman…I’m somewhat confused with your tipping….Soldatino was a near cert a short while ago according to you, get on at 20’s, take the hint etc….next you say you’ve had a little on for the champion hurdle at 1000 in case he wins the betfair by 10 lengths, which is ridiculous statement anyway, you also keep saying Alarazi could run well, and now another…Third Intentions as an eyecatching entry….so either you know something about Soldatino which you’re not letting on, or by the time the race comes round you will have tipped up 6 or 7 in the race??
Thanks guys, most helpful….shame it will be off, looked a cracking card for Saturday!
Anyone know the exact rules of ante post betting if the meeting is cancelled, (ie money back) or even worse re-arranged as I’m sure their rules will come into play and the market reformed as no doubt not all horses would run if re-arranged, and all value if any would have long gone.
Nicholls keeps stating that this is Zarkandar’s prep race for the Champion hurdle….he could easily hose up off this mark, but when the trainer keeps stating it’s a prep race, I wouldn’t be confident putting my money down.
Getting in early as won’t have any computer access later…..

I know what greened up meant, it was a tad misleading in saying you didn’t like the vibes you were getting about Soldatino but had backed him anyway.
It’s all good so no worries.
CheersAah I see…..thanks for enlightening me….
Have backed Soldatino myself, so thanks for the reassurance. What vibes you getting on Soldatino then?

Does anyone think A Media Luz has any chance of making the cut for this race? Obviously out of the weights by a long way at the moment, but if Brampour is a yardstick to the top few in the weights, she is now getting up to two stone from a horse she would have beaten comfortably but for falling at the last hurdle last year. Not beaten too far off levels by the same horse at Ascot so a major weight swing due to Brampour’s climb up the ratings. I have always thought there is a huge race in this horse if she could settle properly and got a decent pace I think she’s a decent price if likely to run.
CheersGirls, girls, saucer of milk, table two??
I’ve only been on this forum a couple of months now, and to be honest, you have both been getting on my t*ts with your forthright opinions, and attitude that everyone else knows nothing about the game. Some of your comments are interesting and knowledgable, and even quite helpful at times, yet others are just downright demeaning and blinkered. This game is all about opinions and everyone here has them, that’s why we are here! So respect othr peoples opinions, including each others, even ig you agree with them or not.
This last current thread is pathetic! Meet up, have it out, and just get on with it! I thought you had to be 18 years of age to have a bet and to register to a forum of this kind, so did you boys open your accounts with fake ID’s or something?Back to the matter at hand, it’s not rocket science to put up Finnians Rainbow against Al Ferof at Ascot, I very rarely back favourites, but common sense tells me this is going to be a tough horse to beat come Saturday, and will be the main danger to the brillaint Sizing Europe come Cheltenham.
