Jim McGrath should have been put out to grass years ago.Somebody should tell him that it’s a good idea to keep one’s eyes open when speaking on television.
I suspect this may be grossly unfair. I don’t know but I strongly suspect he has actually got a serious eye condition that causes his eyes to close in the way they do.
Has he also got a serious mouth condition that causes his mouth to open in the way it does?
Whatever makes you think that?
With one or two exceptions what a motley crew, and why the need for so many of them.As much as I admire Ms. Balding she is too much of a "pal" to ask the awkward questions that only Chapman and Big Mac seem to ask.

"Jumps from fence to fence"
Never seen this happen some bloody leaper if a horse could. A horse tends to jump a fence(unless i’ve backed it),run to the next one jump that one and then repeats this sequence several times over.
Another paddock watcher who thought Weird Al looked a picture with Rupert not looking as fit.
With a gun to my head I would go for Rupert to reverse the form but WA with travelling so sweetly I hope, and expect, both to give Long Run a run for his money.
Did he manage to keep his eyes open whist airing these views? A particularly strange trait for a television presenter.
Has he,by any chance, aired any views on his northern chum Howard Johnson or has he restricted his thoughts to the more pressing issues affecting racing?
Jumps
SEA PIGEON the best of an extraordinary era
WAYWARD LAD because he never won the gold cup never recoginsed as a truly great chaser which he was
RED RUM transcended the sport
Flat
GRUNDY the bravest of the brave and the first time i was struck by a horses appearance, a beautiful chestnut.
DAYJUR proverbial s**t off a stick
MIDWAY LADY made me more money, knew all about her ability before her first appearance, than any other horse.
September 21, 2010 at 18:18 in reply to: 5 Furlong Sprinter Wins Soft Ground Hurdle, Unique? #318632Back in the 80s an Easterby horse Mr or Young Snugfit was a 5/6 furlong sprinter who went hurdling and, I seem to remember, chasing. Can anyone else remember this or is my mind playing tricks?
1.Arbour Supreme
2.The Package
3.Maljimar
4.King Johns CastleIt means sod all.
Taranis – Nicholls (How far was he off his previous best if at all?)
Kalahari King – Murphy (I have his run rated within two pounds of his Arkle run)
Two obvious examples in the last two weeks.
Too bloody true!
Every intention of backing KK on Saturday, couldn’t see it getting beat, until I heard Murphy.
My 13-y-o boy ignored him for a fiver @12s on course. He hasn’t stopped laughing at me since.
I thought all the following, after such promising starts, would reach the top over jumps;
Mephisto
Arcalis
Chivalry
No Refuge
Tidal Bay
Red Moloney
Diamond SalWonder what happened and if they have anything in common?
The horse appeared to slip after landing and looked,at one point, to be getting up on it’s feet. Unfortunately for the horse the recovery didn’t take place.
From where I was watching nothing to do with the course just a freakish accident.
If Exotic Dancer can retain this year’s form, what price for the Ryanair? Anyone seen any prices?
Surely connections won’t consider taking on the Nicholls pair again?
For all the debate about Jonjo’s training ability what are people’s thoughts on the Johnson and Wylie partnership.
For all the investment made by these two the returns,Drever aside, are slender to say the least. I hope their indecision over Tidal Bay and his optimum trip doesn’t stop this horse showing his true potential.
