LOL will Sir Michael Stoute be next to it
Sadly the horse is not quite what I expected, however I shall him closely next season
Paul Townened riding tomorrow and I will give my judgement one last chance and follow him in again.
Interesting what was said last time as Willie Mullins on his website says the trip is ideal and the ground is fine. They are no different than all the other sycophantic presenters apart from possibly Matt Chapman, in that they will never say when a jockey as given a horse a poor ride.
Matt, like or oathe him, will say it as he sees it, right or wrong.
Racing needs more people like that.
I agree, Biddick did get both wrong or the horse as regressed remarkably which although possible, I doubtYes a shame as Brennan is a far better jockey than O’Regan IMO who I avoid like the plague
No not in the slightest can’t wait for Aintree and Punchestown
I was there a couple of weeks ago and went on one of the tours. I asked the chap who showed us round and he did not know why it was down but beleived it was to re grow the grass
I heard on a podcast that DR was not happy with the instructions he got in the Hennesy and apparently said he would ride the horse as he saw fit in the Gold Cup. Clearly he did.
Clearly a differnece of opinion and Culloty is the trainer and it will be interesting to see if DR continues to ride for Dr Lambe more so than Culloty.
Personally I don’t like DR I think he is a poor jockey just my opinion though.Yes agreed, if only we knew. I have no doubt they will say it is down to the better ground but was very impressive today and appeared to be tanking before Dunraven Storm fell.
Aintree next?Yes a good performance however what’s happened with his chasers, only 13 winners all season.
He called the wrong horse yesterday, he got Zarib and Bouvreil wrong, similar colours but still poor
Must admit I was gutted as like many others I was on the acc. She was better class than the rest and just a shame she fell. Hopefully she will be back soon. The bookies must have been happy though
I don’t talk through my pocket at all, I say what I see. Yes sometimes the horses I back are given bad rides, I don’t think the race or jockey was crooked though. That is gambling though and is something you take on the chin.
However in my opinion Fallon is not straight as is racing. I accept that when I bet.
What makes me laugh is how everyone thinks the game is straight and buries their head in the sand and carry on regardless and nothing gets done.
If these jockeys/trainers were politicians, bankers, police officers everyone would be calling for their heads and to be locked up and everyone would say how crooked they are all.
Double standards IMOHave to agree Racing UK is getting worse and I am sorely tempted to ditch it.
One thing that angers me more than anything is them showing French racing virtually up to the start of a UK race.
It is Racing UK not Racing France and why do I want to watch French racing FFS when I can’t pick the winner of English races with all the form I can get my hands on yet can’t find anything with French form that I can understand nor their style of racing.
Sorry I can’t however it is such a shame that he no longer keeps his website going. He is one of the best judges in the sport
Short memory edfiggyrock2 he is not a person who should be riding in the UK.
Do you recall Top Cees? Recall Lingfield when somehow he got beat on a horse that was clear.
Men like that should not be in the game IMO. We want a clean game or at least as clean as can be
I hope not he is no good at all and constantly gets things wrong
