Following on from previous thread regarding Ceefax racing Ceefax have announced details of the changes that will take place from 28 January 2008 see ceefax page 691.
Essentially they are saying its the fault of the licence fee restrictions as to why they are reducing the service.
It appears from what I read there will be no live show pages.

Racing UK do the RP signposts and the Ceefax info.great night sporting entertainment ahead, first the fight and might as well wait for the racing, fancy benbaun to run a big one in the sprint
I have ‘Benbaun’ and Miss Andretti’ down as ‘Lays’……..Sacred Kingdom to win.

Murtagh rides both….record in H.K. 1st 0……2nd 0……3rd 0
I enjoyed "On The Racing Road", by Nicholas Godfrey
I have it on my list of books to read, anything on Nad Al Sheba/Japan/Hong Kong………Thanks in Advance.
Pity the two ride for trainers who run horses at the wrong distance etc (and other sculduggery) who brought Spencer here form Ireland and is known to have a punt?…….Go Figure!
Despite the form being let down by the likes of Folk and Jack Junior, I thought that Asiatic Boy looked something special in the UAE Derby…does anyone have an opinion on whether this horse will handle the grass ?
Never ran right-handed course…..next time out maybe!

Regarding the Godolphin Lucky Seven…..it may well be won by someone from the Falkland Islands who has done the Lucky Dip!! ;)
No bet in the World cup for me, but there is value to be had in the other races…….e.g. the Japanese have a strong hand IMO.
I would prefer the Dubai carnival to any other meeting, there is no comparision to it anywhere in the World and as for comparing it to any all-weather course in the U.K. is sad.
Great start Wit!…..Shamdala….3rd.

I’ve back the Japanese horses in 2 e/w doubles.

Wit,
Many thanks for all the links, I’ve just watched the race on ATR :o
Wit,
Thanks for the word on ‘Deep Impact’ there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Cold weather and rain will alter the going/draw bias anywhere on any surface, I read Mordin’s article in the Weekender and the talk that Beyer gave, and ditched their ideas. Looking forward to seeing ‘Invisor’ at Nad Al Sheba.
I’m gonna change my username! the ironic thing is, I’m a moderator on a Delta Blues forum and told the members it had a great chance!………and did’nt bet on it myself. :(
Wit,
I’ll see you back here, when Nad Al Sheba comes along.
All the best.
Whatever I bet on, patriotism goes outta the window, I backed Calzaghe to win against Lacy, not because I’m Welsh but because I did the homework, same thing with horses, especialy the Breeders Cup, (I wish I had taped ‘Invisor’ come steaming home! ( 7.7 on the pari-mutuel) :o
