Actually TC, we could do with more teachers like you

MM can claim what he likes IMO I couldn’t care less. I claim I’m slim but my wife claims I’m fat but she doesn’t keep banging on about it and tell me off when I’m raiding the biscuit tin….It always makes me smile to see races such as ‘The happy 80th Birthday Uncle Albert’ stakes etc

Last year I wrote a 20,000 word dissertation.Yes It took me the year It’s made me realize how bad I am!!!All I can think of at the moment is something that happened today that annoyed me. I would put these things in room 101 very quickly. It’s those great big toilet roll holders you get in public/work/not my home toilets. You need some toilet roll, so you gently find the end and begin to pull gently down to get enough to ‘help you out.’……and then it breaks/rips…..and then you spend 10 mins trying to find the end again so you can get out and carry on with your day. Is it just me?
The galloping sound on the telly irritates the whatsits out of me. It sounds like the going is firm when it’s actually soft.
"After all, who can blame them, it’s their club that pays them"…..I can bloody blame them Mike! Why is it always about money, when you play for your country it’s all about pride. If they had been on a huge finacial promise for a better performance would they had played better? If so, shame on them. I look at those rugby players during the World cup and wonder how they can do it when our footballers can’t. Motivation in these cicumstances should come from their own hearts not a manager.IMO
Grimes, I don’t think you can compare footballers’ salaries with those of golfers. Footballers get paid a salary with a contract. If they perform badly or don’t try or get injured, they still get paid the same. I think. Golfers play badly or don’t try, they don’t win any money. If they are injured they can’t win any money. Yes they do earn lots but I think golfers are under more pressure financially than footballers. IMO The rest I agree with Grimes!
