Even though the weather may claim this race, I’ll post a Trends Analysis here later today…..

It is definitely Punchestowns’ race to lose when you inspect the form – and Pigeon Island may be the one to do it!!

I’m certainly in agreement with you now on Razor Royale but still fancy Chapoturgeon and Private Be and dare I say it, Tatenen

I reckon Pigeon Island might steal this receiving weight with course form and distance form. Go for the outsider!!

I’ve only looked at 2 races today at Lingfield:

    1430:

    89 – Radiator Rooney
    84 – Grand Palace
    82 – Rocket Ruby
    82 – Greek Secret

    1530:

    106 – Desert Dreamer
    103 – Shaded Edge
    102 – Sunshine Always

Looks like we both like Desert Dreamer then!

Just seen that Its A Classic has been declared to Warwick tomorrow!! Not fair. I’ll have to re-assess the runners now. :(

Oops yeah missed Pipo De Re. Will type up my trends later this week and post on here to see if we can predict the winner of it. There are certain Nationals where French-breds do well and some where they don’t. This is one where runners-to-winners (or placed) is not a patch on the Irish breds.

Nice to see Its A Classic on your list!

    104 – Gallantry
    100 – Southandwest

    Kempton 1920

    103 – Chjimes
    103 – Littlemisssunshine
102 – Lord Of The Reins
    100 – The Tatling

    Kempton 2050

    115 – Vhujon

Hey bluesbrother, I could not agree more with the Lexus Chase analysis you have done. My own places Notre Pere well ahead of Voy Por Ustedes with Schindlers Hunt third.

    Fingers crossed!

So, if the red and blue match up on a horse then it is definitely a good thing?

Great to see Dream Alliance just hang on to win. As per usual in these Nationals it pays to side with Trends. Dream Alliance, Le Beau Bai and Mike De Beauchene all fitted the mould of previous winners. And where did they all finish?

You simply cannot oppose Big Buck’s for a win here. Karabak is unproven on the ground and won’t even sneak a place. Diamond Harry will just pip Whiteoak for 2nd. She is currently priced 25/1 and 11/4 on BetFair to place. Definitely worth a punt!

Le Beau Bai should run a decent race here and poor old Halcon Genelardais will be placed again I fear. I like the look of Coe and even Ballyfitz to place. Remember to look out for bookmakers that are paying the first five home (Sporting Bet is one of these).

Notre Pere is an intrguing runner here and I think he has the class to win in quite cosily. If I had to oppose then Voy Por Ustedes, Schindlers Hunt and Joncol. Should be a fascintaing renewal if Leopardstown passes the inspection in about 1 hour!!! Fingers crossed.

This is a very tricky renewal. Whilst The Tother One is probably the classiest animal in the race he is carrying too much weight! In terms of trends, it all points to Le Beau Bai and Coe. Remember that French breds do ever so well here in terms of winner sto runners in comparison to Irish and British bred beasts. The American breds do poorly here so it might not be worth going to Flintoff.

Whatever, it is gonna be a cracker and will feature horses who will run well at Aintree…….
