Just goes to show how fragile life as a horse can be and some of the things we never get to hear about that go on behind the scenes, at least this has a happy ending

A first for Frankel, QUADRILATERAL has been named 2yo Cartier filly for 2019

The biggest thrill for me was seeing all those O’Brian horses getting their comeuppance

I also saw this in the RP Jac, something to look forward too hopefully

QUADRILATERAL another group 1 for Frankel, if she trains on will deserve her favourtism for the 1000gns next year

ANAPURNA the mudlark adds another group 1, Call The Wind and Veracious both came second in their group 1’s

Exciting filly Quadrilateral will run in the fillies mile at Newmarket on the 11th.
Anapurna will not run again after the end of the season, she will be retired to stud, what a shame.

My heart wants Enable to go into the history books, she really deserves it. To me there are only two horses i fear and they are Japan and Ghaiyyath the reasons for which have already been said in this thread.
Enable is already a heroine in my eyes having accomplished so much, only horse in history to do the Arc/ Breeders Cup Classic in the same season. Whatever the outcome it will be one of the great races for sometime.

Logician never ran as a 2yo so who knows what awaits next year, this year was his worst 2yo in terms of numbers, the only outstanding 2yo this year is Pinatubo who has already beaten Frankel’s end of year rating.
Logician will be aimed at 12f next year, as you said Joni and if he stays healthy his target will be the Arc in 2020, so much to look forward too.

What a fantastic win by LOGICIAN breaking the course record in the process, two classics winners for Frankel this year

To think it was only the other week that i met Frankel in person with Lady Cecil, it was a day i’ll take with me, it was every bit as good as you said it would be Jac

I can never envisage an end to horse racing or the use of the whip, what i can see is the whip only being aloud a max of 3-4 times and fences and hurdles being lowered in height in the interest of “safety” and while this will spoil it for most fans of the sport this is now the 21st century and animal welfare is a big thing.
I believe this will not happen in the near future but in 10-20 yrs from now, horse racing is big business and employs a lot of people, in 2017 there were approximately 85,000 working across all sectors of the industry and it generated almost 5 billion to the UK economy, it is also the second most popular sport.
So to conclude, racing will never be banned.

KINGS ADVICE makes it 11 career wins, the winning most Frankel progeny and the winning most horse of 2019, fighting out the finish with another Frankel in OUTBOX

Have to agree Tonge, he will be missed not only in Japan but across the world where he serviced many mares that was sent to him. R.I.P.

This was upsetting news, i have read that he has continued to improve, to the point of asking for food, fingers crossed that he makes a full recovery.
