Not quite on topic, I know, but I seem to remember Well Chief drifting markedly in the betting on the day of the Sandown race, as rumours were awash that he had been confined to his box beforehand for a few days, and had therefore missed some work sessions.<br>

I would be a little concerned about the form of the Hobbs horses in general. A few of his fancied runners ran stinkers today, so I just wonder if they are over that bout of coughing as much as Hobbs thinks.

If the real WC turns up, he will hose up imo.
I really cannot see why so many people rate this VPU so highly.
BOS might be half way down the hill by the time that 3 are approaching the last fence. :cool:
Possibly Newmill aside, I’m not conviced that Well Chief would need to retain all his ability to beat these.
voy Por Ustedes – Only just beat Monets Garden, in reciept of 5lbs last year, and I have reservations about what he has actually achieved this season.<br>Monets Garden – possibly wants a bit further than 2, with the Ryanair a possible.<br>Foreman – not good enough imo, not getting any younger.<br>Oneway – exposed as well short of this.<br>Ashley Brook – possibly get further.

Havent been in there for best part of 12 months, but will be around for about an hour if anyone is interested.
i’m not so sure DJ, theres fit and then there is Pipe fit (if you know what I mean).
Listening to the reports earlier in the week (if you believe them) DJ seemed more keen to head to Cheltenham, but opted to get some racecouse work back into him.<br>
It was some performance today, and I certaily wouldnt like to lay much 7/4 to be honest, especially if you take the veiw that Well Chief may not have been fully wound up today.
Whilst some of the interest was taken out wih VPU coming down, it has to be suspected that he wouldnt have got near to WC anyway, especially conceding 10lb. For VPU to have won that, believe he would have had to run to something like 175+, I I dont hve him down as being that good.
