Another farce of a race jonbons been involved in, thats twice these jockeys have did this at the start in his race, absolutely pathetic

Jonbon had to do the donkey work again but still got the job done nicely. :good:

I don’t get why the jockeys did that

Jogging around and sprinting for home would only play to jonbons strengths

Wouldnt have suited knappers hill or elle est belle at all

They knew the faster they went the better for Jonbon as he would then have a target so they thought a tactical race would help them. Made no difference.

Do we all think Henderson will run both in this ?

    Constitution hill now favourite

Glad I managed to get a few quid rolling on to him as he looks like he could be anything

There is something altior/shiskin esque in how effortless everything is for him against (admittedly modest opposition today)

Constitution Hill now shortened to favourite after winning one of the poorest Grade 1s at odds of 2/5.

    Bookies doing the usual. ;o)

Hes run multiple horses in the supreme loads of times so you’d think so

Would kill the spectacle but I’d be staggered if Constitution Hill doesn’t head for the Ballymore. Not only does Nicky have the best chance in both but the lad today looks like he’d take to the step up in trip.

I agree to a degree Tom that he should go there but i doubt it’ll happen. I wonder if he has 2 mile championship pace to win on nicer ground against the very best.

Hill is all speed so I’ll be amazed if he doesn’t come here

I wonder why you want him to go to the ballymore Mike?

Might be your jonbon tickets by any chance haha

Il be backing him for the ballymore once NRNB comes out if he’s the right price, sometimes they don’t fully take the NRNB aspect into the prices to remain competitive

He looks to have loads of speed and will fly up the hill in the supreme

He did the same on good ground against better opposition lto mike, not sure where hes going to find another 5f for the ballymore, hes a 2 miler all over, doesnt look like he wants a step up,

Out of him and jonbon id have him a mile clear

Terrible race today, but hes certainly ran to high 140s today without being asked too much, so hes a 150s novice over the supreme trip, he will most certainly come here

Haha just said why and they got Jonbon for the Supreme so split up the good ones perhaps like Mullins tends to do. The way he travelled in that ground the extra distance should be fine.

But jonbon isnt a certainty to win this? His price reflects that,When mullins splits them up its usually because hes sitting with an odds on faugheen or douvan or whatever that hed be certain enough in his mind is likely to win, theres every reason to believe sir gerhard would beat jonbon currently for example, but CH ran to a figure there that could possibly be hard to beat

The irish are being forgotten about in this judging by the betting, id be wary of that.

I still dont see why running 2miles on bad ground would mean you can handle 2m5 in better ground round a different track, it doesnt translate that way, 2m is 2m, 2m5 is 2m5, “could” he handle 2m5, absolutely, but why would you want to bother when hes just did that ?

Sir Gerhard imo won’t beat Jonbon here. Mullins also doesn’t always have odds on favourites in a Supreme.
Henderson holds the key here imo as he has done from time to time before against the Irish brigade.
Jonbon looks like he has scope, Nico said CH and Jonbon are completely different types and that Henderson and Buckley would discuss the Cheltenham target for CH. As i said before i think they will more likely stick to Supreme. No disgrace their horse placing here ;o) lol
