Is his hurdling so good it’s scary though? Henderson seems to live in a perpetual state of terror due to how good his darlings’ jumping is. Probably needs PTSD counselling after every schooling session.
November 10, 2021 at 13:21 #1567024The first of the Hendo Hypsters out of the way then….

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!November 10, 2021 at 14:19 #1567028Don’t worry lads, he still has Jonbon to come.
November 16, 2021 at 14:26 #1567804Jonbon pencilled in to make his seasonal debut on 26 November at Newbury.
November 26, 2021 at 13:21 #1569142Nice start by Jonbon when the race finally started!
November 26, 2021 at 13:25 #1569143The dream is still alive.
November 26, 2021 at 13:28 #1569144Farce of a race that was lol should all be fined and pick up a few days for it.
November 26, 2021 at 14:48 #1569155V impressive; even has that greyhound look of his brother
November 26, 2021 at 19:11 #1569193Hard not to be impressed
Hes a terrible price but that was a very good start for him
Hes gonna be like champ the year he ran in the ballymore for me, just never a particularly appealing price
November 27, 2021 at 11:39 #1569365Sir Gerrard is more likely to go for the ballymore , Jonbon was visually impressive yesterday but he didn’t have anything to beat , will he get a competitive run before Cheltenham …. The chances are a battle hardened Irish horse may do him stops me from playing at such a short price
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
November 27, 2021 at 13:10 #1569388I know he said otherwise in the stable tour but I still like gerhard for this and kilcrut for the ballymore on what we saw last year
November 27, 2021 at 13:26 #1569390HDLG don’t buy that he had nothing to beat yesterday the second fave had some good bumper form and was brushed aside. Plenty of novice/maiden hurdles in Ireland the hotpots start off against trees.
November 27, 2021 at 13:28 #1569392Mike sorry it wasn’t strong form , as I said visually good but we didn’t learn anything else
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
November 27, 2021 at 13:43 #1569399Its first time out what do you expect? He beat more than total trees that much i do know. Its not normal for a potential hotpot to start off in really steep company as a novice hurdler. Its a gradual process up to March. Appreciate It was 12-1 on when he started last season, the opposition were total trees. What did we learn in that race? Not a lot.
November 27, 2021 at 21:05 #1569489I can’t back Kilcruit for this – related to Numbersixvalverde, Ballybough Rasher ( Charlie Hall winner ) and Cootamundra ( Troytown winner )
I know stayers can run well in this but it’s still a speed test
November 27, 2021 at 21:25 #1569494Appreciate it is a bad example mike as we already knew he had a very high level of ability from his bumper form
And all that was needed to see on his hurdles was can he jump, we already knew he had the ability
That jonbon was half the price before his hurdles debut than what appreciate it was sums up how bad a price he was and is
November 27, 2021 at 22:28 #1569505I was talking more about the opposition on hurdle debut i.e. a gentle start.
