Devastating performance. If they keep him over hurdles, that’s next year’s Champion Hurdle winner.
March 15, 2022 at 13:38 #1587201Willie glad Sir G running tomo not today
March 15, 2022 at 13:41 #1587202Phenomenal win. Stuff of dreams.
March 15, 2022 at 13:42 #1587203Doubt we will see a better performance than that this week. The second and third are good horses and he has beaten them out of sight.
March 15, 2022 at 13:43 #1587205Wow!
Agree Glad, hope he keeps over hurdles fore another year.
That performance would be difficult to beat in this year’s Champion Hurdle, let alone next year.Value Is EverythingMarch 15, 2022 at 13:44 #1587206Terrific winner. I thought he was a mudlark.
BUY THE SUN
March 15, 2022 at 13:45 #1587207Thats the key. Jonbon is a terrific horse and the rest were way behind
He was barely bothered at the end too
This is something very very soecial
March 15, 2022 at 13:46 #1587208Tremendous that, agreed that’s next years CH winner if they stay over hurdles!
March 15, 2022 at 13:46 #1587209Jonbon’s form going into the race was pretty much as good as his stable companion. However, listening to the media boys with connections to Seven Burrows, obvious Constitution Hill was going much better than Jonbon at home.
Value Is EverythingMarch 15, 2022 at 13:47 #1587211Ginge- the fact that he’s only five would hopefully lead connections down the Champion Hurdle route next season. I know that Mr Buckley loves his chasers, but there’s plenty of time yet.
March 15, 2022 at 13:48 #1587213You can easily see the front 3 winning multiple grade 1s going forwards wherever they go. Suspect 2nd and 3rd will go up in trip if this monster is in the arkle. Dysart Dynamo looks another Asterion Forlonge probably plenty of ability but a certified nutjob
March 15, 2022 at 13:49 #1587214Ginge shut up mate.
BUY THE SUN
March 15, 2022 at 13:50 #1587215😆 at Barry Geraghty’s kids doing the pretraining.
March 15, 2022 at 13:50 #1587216TTC – I had those thoughts too because usually horses that handle that kind of ground don’t translate it on better ground – he did it and then some. Nico was taking a pull on him coming down the hill, glad that Buckley is his owner as over the years he has had some very dark days as an owner.
Question is now, Champion Hurdle campaign next year or Arkle/QMCC? – Honeysuckle or Shishkin. Personally I think Champion Hurdle as it seems the weaker division outside of Honeysuckle.
March 15, 2022 at 13:51 #1587217Dysart Dynamo looks a temperamental sort to me.
Wanted to get on with things and the cause of a false start, then too free when taken on by Jonbon until able to lead again. Looked like he wanted to run out a time or two too. Needs his own way in front to show his form and probably makes mistakes when headed too. Beaten and came down once headed.Value Is EverythingMarch 15, 2022 at 13:52 #1587218A truly exceptional performance
Hes done that without coming off the bridle
Didn’t look to have anything like the size of jonbon or Dysart dynamo so you’d have to think there’s a big chance he will be a champion hurdle horse
Nothing better than backing the winner of the supreme
March 15, 2022 at 13:54 #1587219Constitution Hill – Arkle 2023.
Jonbon – Turners 2023.They are future chasers i think.
